Day/Night cycles in Pokemon Crystal....?

So Ive been playing Pokemon Crystal with RIN....and Ive noticed the day/night cycles arent working....

Could this be the fault of RIN or maybe the ROM I have?

Dang man....

Now I cant catch a lot of them because they only appear at night.

The clock works fine for me. Don't know why it wouldn't work for you.

Usually when the clock/battery is f'ed up the game gives you a message at the begining telling you so....but I get no message....nor do I get nighttime....nor berries growing back.....

I wish I could help but all I can tell you is that it works for me so there has to be something you can do to get it working.

im guessing its a problem with your rom, try to get another one. When i tried this, everything worked fine(a little too fine even, using state loads, i cant cheat and get extra time in timed events), so maybe try another rom and update to the latest rin version, other than that, i dunno what to tell ya...
