thank you very much, such a simple thing, lol
Agent D try making the directory name roms instead of rom. Also it should be in the root.
thank you very much, such a simple thing, lol
Unfortunately, if you don't have the ROMs in the proper place, the error will flash so quickly on the screen that it just appears that it has done nothing. If you look closely, you'll see a quick blip saying that there was an error and it couldn't find anything in /roms.
First off I would like to say thank you for your hard work. I am VERY happy that I can now play all my old favorites, without having to buy them a second time.
I have a few comments if thats ok for a first post.
Is it just me or does the sound of the games seem different than from an actual console?
I would like to see the analog stick work on the diagonals. I guess mapped to the up/down and left/right d-pad buttons. (Maybe I just missed it and it already does.)
Other stuff has already been said so I wont bother. (sd or gc mc saves)
I do like everything else, ecstatic actually!
THANK YOU!
Bravo for all the hard work! This made my night!!!
The only problem I have encountered so far is Donkey Kong Country running too fast for some reason.
You should be able to do diagonal analog if you set the clip low enough.
How do i save my game saves.
I'm using a gc 59 block memory card
and is there anyway to save it on the front sd
Thank you Vicious1988,
Worked like a charm.
I noticed somewhere else that someone has a GB Color emu running on wii that runs and saves without a sdgecko or usbgecko. Maybe taking a look at that would help the other emu's along?
Actually, the front loading GBC emulator for Wii doesn't support saving yet either.
When these emus do though I'll be filled with joy!
On a side note, is there some way to limit the frame rate? I need to slow Donkey Kong Country down.
Also the font is so big on the rom selection list I'm barely able to tell which rom I'm selecting (only a few letters are displayed).
Otherwise it's great. I appreciate your hard work, Vicious.
Just curious if anyone else has had lockup problems. It seem like every now and then when I click play game it seems to lockup and I have to power off. It's not a bad rom because I can run it again and have it play just fine. Also has anyone been able to load a new rom after already loading one? When I go back to the menu and load a new game nothing happens it just keeps the old one loaded. Finally, does anyone have any clip settings for using the analog controller for street fighter?
Edit: I came across this mod for the gamecube version that mentions changing the emulator speed:

it might be worth looking into to get some games working properly.
