The worldwide interest in the Whole Wii Homebrew community over the last day in particular has been astounding and reminds me of the day when PSP Homebrew became a reality, yes its not easy via the Twilight Hack but you dont have to mod your console so thats a major bonus

The release of the Snes Emulator, the Wii MP3 Player, the Gamecube Dol to Elf Converter, Tetris and Wii Linux have topped off a very exciting time for homebrew fans from any scene.

Personally some type of region free hack is one thing i would like to see and full Wiimote control on games

A version of ScummVM with wiimote support would be incredible, imagine being able to play Sam & Max, Loom and Monkey Island again on your sofa whilst point n' clicking.

Otherwise the next major hot topics for me are playing imports (Smash Bros. Brawl till autumn? f*ck you nintendo) and emulators with lightgun support. Operation Wolf on MAME anyone?

Firstly, I'd like to see this possible with the internal SD slot.
But other then that, I'd like to see Genesis/Mega Drive emulation, a hombrew shooter like Ikaruga, and N64 emulation.

I was wondering why it cant use the internal sd addaptor but it would be nice to see reigon free so i can import smash since its not till fall but atleast we get mario kart soon.

2 major steps need to be taken first. 1) executing Wii games via this exploit in a Debugger. VC games too so a trojan can jump in and figure out the protection.

2) Extract the system firmware for analysis

i wish for usb hdd support to be added since nintendo won't give it to us. If we had hdd support we could have another great media center. And it would give us a lot of space for emulators and the awesome homebrew that would follow.

I personally wanna see the internal SD slot function via the exploit, a Custom Firmware/Exploit in the firmware to set Emulators/homebrew as channels, A exploit to prevent autoupdating if nintendo decides to change and/or a way to play newer games with a low firmware the hdd sounds good cause all i got is a crappy 1gb mem card would be nice to have the wii there and call it the emulation system XDDD play any game you want :thumbup:
