Help with commodore 64 emu

Hello i have been trying to get dc 64 to work.
I have followed the readme instruction. I placed the files on the cd and created the text file with games.
The program starts up but it will not load the games.
Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong.

Hi, I know this is a silly question, but where has it all been stored, as damp will have an adverse affect.Mine was stored in the attic for years unboxed, and it took me three months to clean and reset.
