backlight and gps

I just used my holux and psp today and one thing I noticed is if you dont touch the screen for a while, the backlight goes out. This isn't a problem in the day but at night I could see it becoming an issue. Also like 5 minutes after the backlight goes off, the whole display turns off. I couldn't find it in system settings, is it a power saving option or what?

You`re right, but it`s the Power Saving Option from your PSP, not from mapthis. Under Settings --> "Power Save Settings" you can turn them off.
