    Default Hi, and help!

Ok so hello everybody im new here. Here is my problem, i have a problem with my psp, it will not work without the power cord (tried a new battery and that is not the problem) it appears to work fine as long as the power cord is in. Does anyone know what the problem would be?

It is possibly a hardware issue.
Maybe there is a short where you put the battery into your PSP?

This seems to be a problem with the Power Management Chip. A friend of mine had this problem after he used a hard-modded Pandora Battery (this is one of the risks of using one).

I'm afraid you may have to buy a new PSP or if it is still in warranty with SONY, you maybe able to send it off for warranty repair or renewal.

I can't say for definate though so I maybe wrong, but it looks strongly like that is the problem.
