He definetly has the right firmware on his memory card and PC, so I can't think of what else could be wrong >.<

Ndstt ;_;
I advised my friend to get a NDSTT, having heard good reviews about it online, comparing it to the mighty R4DS of all things!
However, he reports that his DS refuses to even acknowledge that the cart is there!
Any experiences/advice would be much appreciated!

Sounds like a bad card to me if hes doing everything right. DS's do not need to be flashed.
