Sony to release Bronze PSP in Japan

Another month, another color for the Japanese PSP. The latest addition to the multi racial portable family is "Matte Bronze," a limited edition color that will arrive on April 24 along with a couple of new accessories.

Unlike most of the PSP color variations, Sony Japan has decided to release the bronze system exclusively as a Value Pack bundle. In addition to the PSP-2000 hardware, the package will include a pouch, a strap, a cloth, a 32 megabyte Memory Stick, and a D cable for hooking up the system to a television. This is the first time Sony has included a television cable with a PSP bundle.

Pricing for the bundle is set at 23,800 yen.

Coinciding with the bronze color variation, Sony will release a couple of new accessories for the portable. The company will release the PSP-S360 cradle at 4,800 yen. In addition to simplifying the charging process a bit, this device includes a small remote control, allowing you to remotely control your PSP.

Sony will also bundle the cradle with a D-cable in a 6,500 yen pack, making it even easier to use the PSP as a media device. Both accessories will arrive on 4/24.

That dock looks mighty nice, but the price is a bit high. Also I don't have a slim...soo, I guess it's a moot point. Still looks cool though...and controlling a slim with a phat via iR just sounds like win.

Yea boy lookin pretty sweet! I would just cop the docking station, pouch and remote control. Too bad they're not separate.
