I can't format it either cuz my pc reads it as write protected and my psp gimps up real bad if I even put it in at all.

Well, you and your friends have terrible luck. I have thrown just about everything you can at my 1gig Sandisk Pro Duo. I havent had any problem with it. A lot of people that I know that have the same model, too, havent had any problems either.

Your sig is pathetic as well lol. Just thought I'd throw that tidbit in for ya.

    Thumbs up Cheap!!!

    SanDisk Gaming 1 GB $84.99 USD $4.81 2-day shipping ($89.80)

    SanDisk Pro Duo 1 GB $80.98 USD $4.81 2-day shipping ($85.79)

SanDisk Ultra II High Speed 1 GB $107.97 USD $4.81 2-day shipping ($112.78) (This one claims 10MB/sec Read and 9 MB/sec write, dunno if works with PSP. Has anyone tested one of these?)

Excellent site here in the U.S. for the most part on PC hardware, etc. Company is very fast and reliable!

    Beware:

That means you most liklely pulled it out when the orange light was blinking (aka the memory stick was being accessed)

I got a sandisk and performed all sorts of risky maneuvers with it without a corrupt stick. I did the swaploit multiple times before the kxploit was found, I've run out of battery in the middle of rom play, I've accidentally thrown my PSP into sleep mode multiple times in the middle of a ROM, and still no corrupts....I have a 512 meg Sandisk stick which I got for a bargain.

Outpost is surprisingly cheap, I've never gone there really but I got to fry's irl once in a while, I got the stick for 79.99 like you said, and advanced wars:ds for 24.99, with overnight shipping for 11 bucks. Not bad, I can't wait for it to get here.
