Default M3DS real review + news (unknown features!) - Scorpei.com

    Hey All,

I've just (finally) finished adding the pictures to my M3DS real review. Sorry for being late with the review (relativly speaking, as I was the first with PCB shots writing the review took me a long time). But to make up for it I have 2 great news items regarding the M3DS real. The first is regarding DS homebrew and the second is regarding original GBA saves (<-- direct links). Neither of the two features have (accuratly) been mentioned by reviews (or even the M3 team) before (afaik)!

To find out what those two items are specifically read the review (don't worry, you can quick jump from the introduction to the 2 big items) !

    Cheers,
    Scorpei

P.s. Those with an M3DS real, rejoice .

The two things I mention in the post above are (now non-cryptic):

    1. DS homebrew can be started via the game menu perfectly fine, it can also be ANYWHERE on your microSD card. I see why root is suggested by the M3team but it is no way needed (scummvm for example runs fine from the /nds folder). Surprising no one I know has tested this out before me......
    2. You can backup your own original GBA save games with the M3DS real without using any homebrew!

See the review / direct links for details.

Yup, the second one is nifty, i had no clue about that one, but its nice to know, may even come in handy.

The first one i knew about, but i didnt know it was special, i always had my homebrew in their own folders.

If the M3 team can add real time save to DS games, and/or add an ingame menu for enabling/disabling cheats, or the slow-mo, (like the supercard DS one) then they would truely have the best product.

I bought the product since it said it had everything i needed, one of them being RTS, i just didnt know at the time it was for GBA games only.

If i could go back, i'd maybe reconsider for a supercard DS one.
