    I assume it only allows you to play originals? How does it handle possible bricking because of on disk firmware updates?

    they worl perfewctly for now, I've tested several games. The question is if they are update proof from nintendo.

    i have this freeloader for the japanese console but my us version of mario galaxy would not run. what should I do?

    Do not get these, use the homebrew alternative. It's not 100% compatible yet but is unblockable by Nintendo, whereas this exploit could easily be patched.
