Wario's Woods - It's a tetris rip-off. But you don't need to like tetris to like this one. I HATE tetris games, they are so boring. This game is really fund to me. You are Toad, and your literally inside of the tetris field. You must pick up creatures and bombs to clear the field (Round Game). Or try to clear the field, or fill the other persons screen (Vs. CPU & Vs. 2P).

Super Famicom Wars would be another one to add to the list. This is the prequal to Advance Wars, but was only released in Japan. Does anyone know if this has been translated?

    Cool

Here's my list of favorite Japanese games. Translations for the following are available at The Whirlpool

Treasure Hunter G - Very good graphics. It's a Japanese RPG by Square. The combat is a bit different. Almost tactical.
Radical Dreamers - The sequal to Chrono Trigger. It's pretty good if you are into graphic text adventures. I found it to be quite fun.
Tales of Phantasia - One of the Greatest RPGs Ever. Quite a challange later on in the game.
Famicom Detective Club Part 2 - If you like adventure games, you'll probably like this one. My friend is nuts over it.

I'm hoping some day they will translate Marvelous - Mouhitotsu no Takarajima and Arabian Nights.

Plok - A platformer where you are a something, and you throw your legs and arms to hurt enemies. Better platformer that Mario World in my opinion. (Also harder)

Aside from the fantabulous Mario Kart, I really liked International Superstar Soccer, Super Probotector and Legend Of The Mystical Ninja with Probotector probably being my fave.
