Homebrew is unstoppable on the iPhone and Ipod Touch, heres the latest news from the ijailbreak team:
We've just released iJailBreak 0.6 (referenced to before as 0.5.5). This version provides 1.1.4 support for all iPhones and iPod Touches, and, as before, allows you to freely enable the $20 iPhone apps. It also adds com.apple.afc2 support, allowing for easy manipulation of the filesystem.
As always, iJailBreak is released under the GNU General Public Li cense version 2, We are currently having trouble with Google Code, so please download iJailBreak from here

i tried this on my ipod touch and all it did was show alot of text and did nothing for an hour and then shut off. now i cant use it as a normal iPod any idea what to do??
