ipod Genesis Emulation Coming To Iphone/Ipod Touch

My old buddy ZodTTD has posted that his Genesis emulator is now in beta stage and will be released shortly at his site.

Great News for all Apple iPhone and iPod Touch Users.

    Heres a screen:

Great news! Seeing the comments, it hasn't the speed that most of us expected but I will look for the final version

It depends on the settings chosen to play with. Frameskip is currently a setting chosen before the game starts. An update with autoframeskip will come shortly.

Many games run just fine, just autoframeskip would make things smoother.

With the news of a new homebrew toolchain emerging from "saurik", I should be able to upgrade some of the code, and get performance increases in general. This will minimize the need for frameskip.

After genesis4iphone, I'm going to go back and refine my previous releases.

    Well f*cking finally!

I was beginning to worry about the lack of worthwhile emulators for the iPhone. NES and GBA just don't cut it for me.

And I am sure that the speed will see a great enhancement over time. I mean, we have GBA up to about 85% speed, and that's a lot newer than the Genesis.
You don't need to know my mental status. You probably don't want to, either.
