    psp PSP-Maps 0.5

This new version adds the following features:
    • added Virtual Earth and Yahoo! Maps support (thanks to boomerang for the idea)
    • address search menu
    • customizable cache size
    • added an option to load neighborhood to cache
    • switched to TTF font
    • fixed a bug with favorites
    • new buttons mapping

If you are curious, here is a quick video presentation I did for the previous version: http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=01tgRsq8HIM

The Virtual Earth and Yahoo Maps support was quite easy to add since the tile system is very similar to Google Maps.
The address search menu uses the Google Maps API.
You can now setup PSP-Maps to have a very big cache.
And you can use the "load neighborhood" option to load the tiles around the current position in the cache, with a large radius (useful to generate a map for offline usage).

This version is available on my website: http://royale.zerezo.com/psp/
Or as usual in attachment to this thread.

    planning an extended holiday?

there's a casino in the forums (see link at top of page). i don't know if a more concrete reason exists, but if you're bored you can gamble away the cash we all seem to accumulate over time.

PS - props for not using the PSP keypad input method for address input! scrolling up and down through the alphabet like an arcade machine high score entry is infinitely faster.
