Is this better than the official version 2?
Smiths has released a new unnofficial build from the sources of Snes9xPSP_TYL v0.1, heres whats new via the readme:
v0.1u1
+ Added Key Configuration support
- saves to key.cfg
- if no key.cfg, loads defaults
- basically the same as NeoCDPSP's key configuration support
+ Tweaked menu browsing
- I don't like selecting "- - - - - -"

if you mean speedwise, no... its just a mod of 0.1
Whats the point in updateing a older version why not update the 0.2?
plude- source to 0.1 is out, not 0.2 and honestly i just felt like porting something over on a hot morning and it was the latest source code available
that's honestly the whole thing. There's really no point to the release but I noticed some people were still using 0.1... so why not play a bit?

i got some problems on the control on games 4 example i cant run(square) and hit a arrow at the same time...
Hi Smith,
Seems that you have to do some fixes
Please send corrected code for the 0.3 release ok ?
Anyway message to anybody using the public code of TYL.
Please do release the changes you do (or send it to TYL member, we will include the relevant changes and include inside the source package for the source release, proper credit will be given too).
Most likely many people will do minor changes while we focus on the core.
(It is the case with Smiths)
That's the whole thing about doing opensource stuff.
It does increase quality.
Now about our source release system, just read the homepage to understand the reason for it. We want to avoid people taking what we did, and do not give proper credit. So by keeping our source shifted from binary release, we keep enough technological advance so other emu using our code (or // release without the message) are lagging.
Personnally I would not like to see a guy taking our latest source at each release,
remove the message, put his name, remove proper credit, do not release the source of course and release a bin just 1 day after our release and then do a "super everyday small changes release" to get attention.
See you,
Laxer3A
yeah good noticing the control prob.. i redid the control scheme a bit from bitshifting to simple "if thens" and it makes sense that multiple button at same time stopped working.
i'll look into it when i have time... like I said it was mainly a "quicky addy fun thing".
But i'll take a look

Thank Smith,
I take the opportunity here to say that I met "Y" today !!![]()
We discussed about many things for roughly 3 good hours, and it was quite fun.
Now we agreed on various stuff and he actually already published a message on his site (it is in japanese for people who can read it)
He may/will join the project at his own pace but will not give up on his own emu.
(which is a good thing I believe, because 1.43 core is different from 1.39 core of Snes9x TYL, some games not working and will not work correctly on our emu)
Of course, TYL has from the beginning the will to become the n.1 emu, and we are working hard to keep our high expectation a reality.
Y said that he never wanted to work on the core of the emu, which is his own choice. So he may be most likely work on improving TYL. I dont know what he wants to do but... Let time decide that.
Good night everybody,
Laxer3A
