PSP power annoyances

Hi.

So, when I have my PSP on the charger, the system turns off automatically once it reaches 100%. Also, once it reaches 100% charge, it won't turn back on unless I take out the battery, or take out/put back in the charger.

I've used 2 different batteries, and it's done this on both. I'm on custom firmware, and I suspect that I messed something up when I was going through that whole process.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

This is an odd problem.

Solutions to solve strange problems after a flash are:
System Settings > Restore System Defaults
Or
Recovery Menu > Advanced > Format F1 and Restore System Defaults
This deletes the config.se file that is recommend as a solution to registry problems.
Toggling F1 and deleting it yourself works just as well
The PSP will recreate the file the next time it is restarted.

Hmm, didn't work.

Still shut off on it's own, and it still won't turn back on unless I force it to.

Make sure the battery is firmly inserted.

What firmware are you using now?

Did you try turning off all the power management options under Power Save Settings?

Re-flashing your PSP might fix the problem.
Using Pandora and Despertar del Cementerio 4 to perform a raw 3.80M33 flash might fix the problem.

Other than that I really am out of ideas.

Yeah, the battery was in there as much as it could be.

I'm using 3.90 M33, on a phat PSP.

The settings were the first things I checked.

Now, this one I haven't tried, and I was kind of hoping that I wouldn't have to. I guess I might have to.

*UPDATE* Well, I tried pandorizing it back to 3.80, and it still does it. I guess I'm going to have to assume that it's the PSP itself, because I'm out of options. Oh well, it was free. Thanks again for your help.

It maybe a problem with the PSP
Another thought is that it might be the power supply.
See if you can test this with another AC/DC charger...
