Thinking of pre-ordering but......

Have checked out dvdboxoffice.com and lik-sang and I am very interested in pre-ordering myself a DS as a sort of Christmas present to myself. I can get one for around £130 with a top game.
Does anybody know if recent supply problems will stop me getting one before christmas?
Also, will I get stung an import charge once it arrives in the UK?

Lik Sang are a decent supplier, my one word of advice is this, use airmail for shipping. Ive never been charged via airmail but i have been when i used fedex etc, global shipping is cheap and good too.

Thanks for the info. I see that Airmail takes 2-4 weeks. Do you know if this is a 'worst case scenario' and in the real world it will arrive in a week?
I really want one for Christmas.

Does the above mean you dont pay import taxes or delivery cost?

If i buy a DS from lik-sang.com, how much is delivery and import tax for UK delivery?
