i do believe the simsons rock only cause i have been watching them since there first episode back in 89 or 90 but did you know that, thats not where they started off it actually started off way back on a late night show i think kind of like saturday night live and they decided to have a little cartoon skit which happened to be the simpsons of course the art was crap when they started but when the show came out it rocked and sorry once again if nobody understands this i am very poor with punctuation and anything else that goes with spelling

Actually, that show was called the Tracey Ullman Show. You are correct in saying that it was a skit show. The cast of the show was made up of Tracey Ullman, and most of the Simpsons cast. I don't believe Yeardley Smith or Hank Azaria were on the Ullman show, but I know that Julie Kavner and Dan Castellanetta were.

The Simpsons are awesome. They have been going for almost 15 years, and they still are original and amusing. They are not quite as good as they were in their peak, but they are still very entertaining.

And, The Simpsons did not really even start on the Tracey Ullman show. Matt Groening had come up with the idea in print form before then. Only, in the original form, they were a family of funny-looking rabbits.

'70s tie in time: *Julie Kavner was the sister on Rhoda and Marcia Wallace (Mrs. Crabapple) was the secretary on the old The Bob Newhart Show (not the '80 Newhart series ).
