    yea your psp can run it.
    but version 0.9 is already out and that has perfect emulation. so you should search for the new version instead of getting this. to put it on your psp copy the 2 folders u get, (the normal 1 and the 1 with the %) into your GAME150 folder. then run it from the memory card option under game on your xmb

    Firstly: you wont find help with downloading commercial ROMs on DCEmu, second: there is a more recent version of gpSP Here.

    Yes, this game is definitely an incredible RPG. Although I can't seem to get it working. I know i have the right BIOS but I am always getting a bad jump error. Is there something I can do with the settings to get it to work? Or does this game NOT WORK?

    ::EDIT::
    Ok I was in fact using a different BIOS. I was kindly directed to the correct BIOS by another member and now this game seems to work flawlessly. Incredible Emulator.

    Again, I must give thanks to Exophase! BEST EMU for the PSP!
    somebody sent me the bios for riviera , yggdra union and sword of mana

    Very impressive. I've had great faith in this emulator for a long time. Now how about a custom icon in the menu to make it look all pretty, eh? :P

    As mentioned a few posts above yours, there is a huge update to this emulator here. Use this instead.

    For custom icons, you can probably use PBP Unpacker to unpack, add images, then repack the EBOOT.PBP.

    alex_b: Are you joking?????

    A website with a video telling you how to do everything?
    Before television destroyed the human race's ability to think, there were these things called books. They contained valuable information in written form, where it can be studied, referenced and compiled very easily. Even today in the online world, the best way to obtain detailed information on a subject is normally through this 'text' stuff.

    I mean Exophase 'wrote' the emulator; as opposed to 'filmed' or 'directed' it. I'd love to see code being created via that method, perhaps interpretive dance......
    I can see it now: In the future perhaps computers will be powerful enough to interpret our dance moves into if, while and case statements.
    Now that's progress.

    Back to the topic at hand.
    The only things you need are the words 'pandoras battery' and the google search on the front page of DCemu.
    Searching for those words will lead you to many guides that you can read and find all the info you need.

    Once you have read enough for you to feel you have a fairly good understanding of what's involved, then you should ask whatever questions you have to clarify points you are not sure of.

    Using a video guide you are far more likely to miss something or do something incorrectly, it also makes any questions you have harder for people to answer as you cannot just link them to the text and say 'I'm not sure about step 14'.

    This thread (especially since its an old version of the emulator) is not the place to ask these things. You should start a thread in the psp help forum once you have spent time reading up on what you need to do to get to a custom firmware and run homebrew on the PSP.

    People have no problems answering questions so long as you've made the effort to work it out yourself first.
    Watching some quick video or being spoon fed info is not the same as reading up and actually understanding what you are about to do.

    That's probably overly harsh but I feel its valid. I'll play nice now.

    <spoonfeed>

    Try this for an explanation of what pandora is and this for how to actually do it.

    There are surely better guides but that'll do (I love the spelling in the intro...) and you can easily search for others.

    </spoonfeed>

    Which is what annoys me; so many people aren't. I'm not very technically minded, so this PSP hacking took me a while to figure out, but I just read as many FAQs and readmes as possible. Sick of seeing questions like "How play game???".

    ok i have a problem:

    i have 2.71 fw on my original psp and i just downloaded the gpsp.
    ive been playing roms on my pc forever and learned i could play on my psp. but whenever i go to load gpsp it shows me the white and green opening thing like it does with all games.
    but then it says, "This game could not be started. (80020148)"

    so i thought it was a problem with my EBOOT so i used another one.
    oh and im using gpsp 08 i think.
    help??

    also i have some legit bios i'm sure. the emulator wo'nt even go to the main screen which you all talk about. that is basically my problem. and in my psp folder there is no game 150 folder, should i create one?
    and i also mane the gpsp folder and the gpsp% folder
