    Default Old time psp user

    Hey guys, I used to be pretty into the whole psp scene for a long time, but haven't touched my psp since dark alexs 3.1 firmware! I'm going on a vacation soon and I'd like my psp to be caught up with the rest of the world . So can someone help me figure out which is the latest custom firmware/version of daedalus/ etc... It would be greatly appreciated.

    EDIT: Just did some research and it looks like 3.72 m33 is the new custom firmware... will i be able to upgrade right from 3.10 oe ??

    1st, you will need the official 1.50 and 3.52 sony eboots. get them here;
    3.52
    http://www.psp-hacks.com/category/60
    1.50
    http://www.psp-hacks.com/category/43

    okay, now that you have both of em, put them in one folder on your desktop and rename the 1.52 eboot to 150.pbp and the 3.52 eboot to 352.pbp

    okay, now get the 3.52M33 installer and put it in your "Game150" folder found in your psp
    here;
    http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1210

    run it in your psp and follow the instructions.
    oh! and put the eboots you downloaded in the same folder where the updater is found.

    after it dumps the files, go back to your xmb and back to the game section of the menu and go to memstick, there will be a new icon, "3.52M33 update" run it and wait for your psp to finish installing it. when it is done, youll hafta manually reboot your psp.

    now that you have 3.52M33, update it to the latest patch of 3.52M33, which is 3.52M33-4(the most stable one)
    here it is;
    http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1231

    put it in your game150 folder in your psp and run it.

    you should now have 3.52M33-4

    i suggest you dont go to 3.71M33 yet. it COULD CAUSE IRREPARABLE BRICKS. and with my experience.. is very unstable. i suggest you stick with 3.52M33-4 1st.

    I'd say go to 3.52 M33-4.

    3.71 M33 is unstable when mounting the flash to USB. This causes an unrecoverable brick. I've tried going to it, but it BSOD'd on me. That's why I've stayed at 3.52 M33-4.

    God it's been ages since I've been on here. I use to do my own mods on this forum for psp back in the day.

    anyways.....

    Will 3.52 M33-4 play all of the newer games? I want the new Castlevania game coming out shortly to work on this firmware? I've heard 3.71 M33 is crap.

    Thanks
