hehe, yeah. I can't keep up with burning and testing all this stuff

BTW, it's nice to see you working on the site again! I will see what I can do to help with double-checking for missing stuff.

Okay, I've been playing with a controller first, but I think a keyboard is better. I've plugged it in port 4.

The FSL menu works great with a keyboard too.

@ Chui: The FSL menu seems to slow down a little bit every once in a while. You can notice it because the music skips a little when it happens.

    - I like the FSL menu a lot! I am really hoping for a version in 640x480 one day.

    - DREAMEDGE (Chui): Example of EDGE 3D engine port with FreeDoom.
This is a very very promising port of DOOM. It's using FreeDOOM and it runs great! Extremely smooth. I am very impressed with it.

Can't wait for the next version with sound support !

    - DREAMPLACES (Chui): Little example of Darkplaces 3D engine preliminar port.
This is a QUAKE port in 640x480. No sound yet but it looks very promising!

This example uses OpenQuartz, a free Quake replacement.

Framerate isn't always stable but it's very smooth already.

But: without a keyboard/mouse, the controls are a real problem here. :-/

Btw, Moi already uploaded a plain files version:
    http://dcemulation.com/phpBB/viewtop...991071#p991071

Can't wait to try a few Quake mods with it.

    - CAMELOT WARRIORS REMAKE (BuHonero & Coelophysis): Fenix remake of Camelot Warriors 8bit game.
This game is absolutely fantastic. - Very very hard though....

    - COLUMNS (Computer Emuzone): ZX-Spectrum Sega Columns clone.

    - ZX-COLUMNS (Compiler Software): ZX-Spectrum Sega clone.
Both entries in the menu seem to link to the version by Computer Emuzone.

That however, is an overall a brilliant port from a Armstrad CPC version of SEGA'S Columns. Excellent music !

    - BABALIBA REMAKE (Compiler Software): Fenix remake of Babaliba ZX-Spectrum game.
A Spectrum remake in hi res... There aren't many FENIX games in 640x480 out there - Very sweet! Excellent character design.

I've been running around a bit but I don't really know what to do.

If I remember correctly it crashed after a while....

    - SOKOBAN (Compiler Software): ZX-Spectrum puzzle game.

This is a sweet looking game. Music is great too.

I somehow I didn't seem to be able to control the character until I realized I had to set the controls to "Kempston" in the game's options menu.

DREAMPLACES is preliminar, needs a lot of work yet.

And the rest is a lot of good games.

    Hello Chui,

My name is Andrew Apted, and I'm the current maintainer of the EDGE project.

Congratulations on getting your DC port of EDGE into a state where you can distribute a binary.

I'm here though to ask you to publish the source code to your modifications of EDGE which you used to make this binary, as required by the GNU General Public License.

    Cheers,

    Nice to meet you Andrew.

No problem for sharing source code, all my projects using GPL license, i did not share it because only it is a WIP version, maybe unusable for now.

Anyway there are not a lot of changes, you can download actual source code for port HERE.

Are there any possibility that you can merge with main trunk and maintain it?
I could give punctual support for Dreamcast and will be focused on OpenGL.

I mistakenly posted a question to Chui here, and I've moved it to where I think it is more appropriate..

Here is where I posted a message over in Chui's DCEMU Forums, (link is here) and so I will look over there hopefully for help, it is under a post called "how do you boot mame4all with bootdreams", thanks and sorry if this is in the wrong place.
