Rev Wiimote a Copy of Dreamcast Prototype?

One of Sega's prototype Dreamcast controllers looks very similar to the Wiimote. So, what were Sega planning back in 1998? And did Nintendo copy their idea?

The mysterious Dreamcast controller prototype discovered by GWN looks similar to the Wiimote, but do they have any connection? Notice the lightgun adapter at the top right which looks very similar to the Wii gun adapter shown at E3!

Not really, it uses an analog stick instead of motion sensing

its simular.... but shapes are easy to get the same... look at all the contollers for this gen.... untill that controller has the sensors that the Wii-mote has then im guna think nothing more of it.

if you look closely, you can see a shadow at the top of the bottom right picture, indicating that all four pictures are of the same thing, rather than the top right model being an accessory.

im sure people have thought of different ways to hold controllers and different ways to move stuff, but no one has put as much effort into making it the next big thing like nintendo has. whereas past companies have made somewhat similar contollers, nintendo is the first to (hopefully) make it a non-gimmick

they are both remotes, they are going to look some what similar, especially since both systems have similar buttons.
