the only one I know of is Dune: battle for Arrakis on Megadrive, not much fun only being able to control one unit at a time tho. C&C runs on Daedalus, but slowly and with no textures.

not realtime, but there are a lot of really quite decent turn based strategy titles for the gba

The GBA games arent freeware... but two of my fav strategy games for it are Advance Wars 1&2. :D

The DS version does look excellent! :D This was originally one of the reasons I was going to purchase a DS... I later changed my mind and opted for the homebrew bad boy PSP! :cool:
Another great (old skool) strategy type game is ‘North and South’. I’m currently playing it on the ST emu Castaway, but I assume this also works with the Amiga emulator too. :)

heh, i my big bro gave me his Gba SP and i went out and bought FFTA for it and might be getting tactics ogre. Is onimusha or Yu YU Hakusho tactics any good?
