Foxconn has unveiled a smartwatch that can measure vital signs like respiration and heartbeat, as well as check phone calls and social media posts.
According to a report by Want China Times, Foxconn outlined a number of the devices features at a shareholders meeting.
The device, which is yet to be named, interacts with a user’s iPhone over a wireless interface.
"With such a device, you can keep your phone in your pocket and simply check all kinds of messages on your watch," said Terry Gou, the head of Hon Hai Precision Industry - the name of Foxconn's parent company.
