
In a research note distributed today, the analyst said: "We expect July console software sales to be led by new release EA's NCAA Football 13, with Ubisoft's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and Take-Two's Max Payne 3 and Spec Ops: The Line expected to be among the top sellers, the latter due to its late June release date.
"Fellow new releases Activision Blizzard's Ice Age: Continental Drift, Atari's Test Drive: Ferrari Legends, and Electronic Arts' The Secret World likely were all negatively impacted by weak reviews, with the latter hurt by growing disinterest in MMOs as well."
