Unveiled at a Japanese press event, the game will be called Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes and will be open-world.
The game was demonstrated on what was described as ‘a current-gen PC’ and was called ‘amazing’ in a number of tweets – even though press and attendees were forbidden to reveal any details.
What we do know from the tweets is that the presentation began with a cut-scene which moved seamlessly into gameplay without a change in graphics. Main protagonists Big Boss is shown creeping around in the rain at night, snapping necks and dodging spotlights.
The game will be powered by the latest generation of Konami’s FOX Engine.
Creator Hideo Kojima also confirmed that aMetal Gear Solid movie is in the works at Columbia Pictures. The film is being produced by Avi Arad, whose former credits include Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk andThe Amazing Spider-Man.http://www.pcr-online.biz/news/read/...nounced/029052
