News from Elta

This is the same emulator that ships with the Dingoo, but hacked to use the quick double buffer technique.

That took a bit longer to do than I expected, mainly because of stupid cache issues (basically cache writeback writing data in the wrong place o_O), but here it is, Just copy md.sim to your Dingoo and enjoy !

I've got a version of it working on the Dingoo, just testing it right now (watching the game intro and listening to the music). Music is skipping occasionally, but it's listenable.

Okay, controlling the little ship thing towards a planet. (You'll have to forgive me, never played this before. )
Entering planetary orbit on mars... woah, nifty animation.

I'll keep testing for a little bit, but it looks promising.

Collecting minerals from the surface...

Currently the controls seem to be as follows:
X - Enter menu
START - activate menu item
SELECT - take off from planet

Anyone more familiar with the game want to suggest a better config?

I've tested the main game, saving/loading, supermelee. No problems so far, but I can't really test it all myself. If people who really know this game could report bugs that'd be helpful.

I haven't tried the OGG music or voice files, if you want to download and test them just put it in the local/uqm/content/packages folder.

Right i have redone my menu/folder layout in such a way that a simple update.zip probably would not suffice so this is now called V2!

Wallpaper switcher (cycles through different wallpapers stored in /usr/local/dmenu/res/wallpaper/ (1.png/2.png/3.png) It is a very simple script so dont break it please lol if you want to change any of the wallpapers keep the same names. You need to copy the whole dmenu folder accross as the file is saved with the wallpapers.

I will also do icons for people who request them just ask in here and i will provide them (normally for games that require WADS that i cant provide. these will also be added to the pack as i go along but will not have dmenu entries

I have decided that i will update teh pack once a day (if im here if not then whenever i can). each update will be uploaded overnight (GMT) and consist of that days updates. this way i dont have to try and push out 3 updates a day if there are 3 new programs

after this version there will be demnu.zip and updated.zip versions again as well. hopefully this is teh file structure that will be kept in this pack but it might change again if dmenu is altered dramatically.

Also requst any features you would like to see in this pack (no i cant add background music to the menu etc) but anything that can be achieved wth shell scripts i will give a go at doing.
