Is there a better way to ring in the first day of spring than with another lawsuit aimed at Apple and AT&T? Probably, but apparently not for Damone Dickerson, who has filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey that again takes aim at the pair over allegedly misleading claims about 3G speeds. According to Dickerson, he has only be able to connect to the 3G network a "fraction of the time," and when he was able to connect it did not provide "full and continual service." As a result, he's leveled a whole host of charges against the two companies, which he hopes will result in them changing their advertising and, of course, allow him to "recover compensatory, statutory and punitive damages." No word from Apple or AT&T, naturally, but Apple has recently asked that a similar case in New York be dismissed.

oking for a weekend DIY project? Using a 26-key ButtonShield keyboard module and salvaging parts from his Open Source GameBoy project, Liquidware Antipasto blogger intheblitz has created the OpenBerry, a Arduino-based mobile messenger that's maybe one-half part BlackBerry and seven parts great icebreaker at parties (the kind of parties we go to, at least). Right now the functionality is minimal -- it sends and receives messages synced to your laptop via a XBee module. The interface is also lacking, but a GUI is in apparently the works. See the device for yourself in the video after the break.

You've got to love it, don't you? Just a day after we caught wind of Logitech's Harmony Adapter for PlayStation 3 (via the always informative FCC), the aforesaid company has come forward and confessed to its plans. The good news is that the adapter is for real, and while we're still not being told too much about the device itself, we do know that it will operate with any Harmony remote and it won't take up a USB port on your console. In other words, it's a simple Infrared-to-Bluetooth converter, though it promises to give Harmony remote users "complete control (including power on / off) over the movie-watching experience on a PS3." We're pleading for more information on pricing and availability, but until that's received, just enjoy your weekend knowing that you'll be able to buy one soon enough.

Well, after submitting Sushi Rubik to NeoFlash last spring, I got a couple of requests for a tool that would be useful to speed cubists. It could also help cup stacking enthuasists too. The nature of speed cubing is to mix a cube and then time how long it takes to solve it, after inspecting the cube.

In competitions, they do 5 cube trials and exclude the best and worst time, then take the average. For training though, the recommended practice is to do 12 trials, exclude the best and worst time, then show the average. Over time, you hopefully get better.

This tool allows you to track all of the time for a cup stacker or speed cubist, and record the results into a file.

    Features
    - generate random cube mix with 25 moves, mathematically proven to generate any possible cube configuration
    - easy to use cube timing buttons
    - show 12 most recent times on an on screen
    - show average of the 12 most recent times excluding best and worst
    - all times available in a scrollable history
    - save current 12 solve history to a file for later review
    - remove mistake solve times from the history a "pop" feature
    - redo time of any solve in the history

Read the readme file for all of the details, or follow the online prompts. The most important thing is to press both triggers to start (or restart) the timer, and any arrow on the d-pad to stop
    Change log:
    Version 0.6
    - added graphing
    - updated splash screen

I was tinkering with a new system of proportional fonts and double buffering for full screen TV display since last submission: and it worked pretty well for this game.

How to install: Unrar the file, and move the whole "Agenaworld" folder inside the agenaworld.rar to /PSP/GAME/ directory of your memory stick.

Do try this game out on your TV.

What you should do: look at the radar on the right side and try to go to the purple dot. Then press triangle when you are on it. Use this method to reach other galaxies (you should be able to visit a lot of them).

I have been quite occupied, but I think I can squeeze in a Full 3D version for the next compo.

(if you downloaded too soon, try it again as it was being uploaded. everything should be fine now)

Just the same ol' pong with a few modifications.

    Project description:
Pong with a few extras like music, wave backround, ball speed change, etc.
You can play be your slef or with someone on the same psp. I made three modes, Normal - Which is just like normal old pong, Fast - With every hit on the wall or the paddle the ball speeds up, and WallBall - The AI is replaced by a wall, the point is to survive for as long as you can.

Thank you for reading this hope you have fun, please post any comments here about the game.

    Update:
    ~Fixed splash screen.
~Fixed Single and Multi-Player ball speed selector, Now uses OSK.

    Hi,

Now it is time to release a second version of my RPG-TibiaClone . As the title indicates, the name was changed now from TibiaforPSP to TibiaPSP.There aren't all the important points, which were planned for this version to be implemented like the Save/Load-function,because i hadn't enough time. Also an Online-Mode is obviously not finished yet, which is certainly need some more time. But there are many new things:

    Changelog:

    New Map (116 * 55 fields) + 5 Quests
    Added 4 creaturetypes (total 5)
Added 16 weapons and items (total 20)
    Added 3 Spells (total 5)
    New in-game MP3 player (reads MP3's from MUSIC-folder)
Added choice between 4 character types (Knight, Paladin, Sorcerer, Druid)
Added a few options (change the background / Hotkeys)
Added approximately 100 new landscape objects (mushrooms, plants, bushes, stones ...)
    Added Level + Experience
    Added Neoflash-Logo
    Some bugs fixed
    And many little things ...

    Now for the hotkeys:

    In the menu

    Up / down direction keys

    Select with X

    In the game

Movement of the figure with the direction buttons

On / Off page menu with SELECT

Move the mouse pointer with a joystick

    LOOK / USE function with R-Hold + X

Lifting of arms by the USE function (pointer to gun -> R-Hold + X -> Click to USE)
Healing spell with L-Hold + Triangle

Fire Attack with L-Hold + Circle

    Energy Attack with R-Hold + L-Hold + square

    Poison Attack with R-Hold + L-Hold + Circle

    SuddenDeth with L-Hold + Square

Creature attack by clicking on creature (with the mouse cursor ^ ^)
    Eating by clicking on Food
    Screenshot with R-Hold + START

MP3 player ON / OFF with START

    Pause with Hold

For the next version, I plan a slightly longer time (between 1-2 month) ,because I had planned for this a lot. (Map Editor, Homepage, And of course, further development of the game ...)
If there is someone who would like to help me with the map editor, can send me an e-mail ([email protected]) (programming skills needed!!!).

    Yours sincerely,

Description: Gather the apples (and shrooms), taste test them and give them to the npc! Earn coins for food that is good, lose life for food that is bad aka poisonious. Have fun, all touch controls. Play until you lose! I find it is sort of like minesweeper.
Some Side Notes: I made this game in 10 hours total. I did not make the graphics or sounds so I have no rights to them and this is free and I hope I dont get into any trouble. I have no idea what this is from. I just found it and remade it for the DS. It was originally a flash game.
This was just for fun So i must say Rock On!

Project description: Vector TD is a remake of a flash game of the same name created

by Alcohol Smurf and Interactive TM aka funkystuff. It features online hi score

submission, online player vs player battles, and some other stuff. It is a rather

rushed product so I woudln't be surprised if there were some glaring bugs. Stop the

vectoids from reaching the end! Play in one of four modes in 7 maps vs the vectoids

or vs a friend with online multiplayer.
Note online multiplayer is not thoroughly tested and you must wait around a minute

after submitting hi score online to be able to see it online.

    Known Bugs:
Due to time, I was unable to tweak this so it might be too easy to too hard or

    impoosible to finish.
Sometimes the screen is pure blue, just hit start and click on exit to restart it,

though I haven't been able to replicate this bug very often.
-Sound sometimes stops in online mode (but game doesn't).

    Rgb Ds

UVaSGD has posted an entry in the Neoflash Coding Contest:

    Nickname: UVaSGD
    Project name : RGB DS
    From: USA (Virginia)
    Division : DS Game
    Original submission : YES
Support for Motion Card : NO
In last NEO Compo this project have won in the top 10 : NO
    Download link: http://people.virginia.edu/~jtg4r/rgb_ds.zip
Installation: Extract to card and run.

    Description:
This is a puzzle/platformer where you must navigate through the two screens in order to get to the star at the end of each stage. The top screen is the blue world where gravity flows downward, and the bottom screen is the red world where gravity flows upward. When you travel between the two worlds, you conserve your momentum.
There are also spikes you must avoid, and doors which can only be opened by buttons. Place a block on the button to keep the door open.
Blocks come in three different colors - red, green, and blue. Green blocks will observe the gravity of the world they are in (like the player), but red and blue blocks will continue to act as though they are still in their own world (e.g., a blue block will fall down, even in the red world).
Currently all levels are unlocked from the beginning. The number of stars(*) next to each level indicates its relative difficulty.

    Controls:
Move with d-pad, jump with A, grab/drop blocks with B. You may restart or quit the level by pushing start.
