Togeki '08 is a big event for many fighting game lovers. The tournament concentrates all the best fighter teams in one place and have them battle each other for victory.

The teams are competing in three games in Togeki '08: Tekken 6, Virtua Fighter 5 R and Melty Blood Act Cadenza Ver.B2. Each set contains two DVDs. Learn a thing or two from these veteran fighters and feel the heated atmosphere exuding from the surrounding crowds.

During the quarter, Nintendo sold 740,000 DS units in Japan, compared to 580,000 during the previous July - September quarter. In the Americas, 2.53 million units were sold, down from the 2.71 million sold the previous quarter. In the category listed as "other," there were 3.52 million units sold during this quarter, compared with the 3.65 million sold in the previous quarter.

Nintendo sold 480,000 Wiis in Japan during this period, compared to 530,000 during the previous one. In the Americas 2.08 million were sold this quarter; 2.5 million were sold during the last. In the region dubbed "Other," 2.37 Wii units were sold, up from the previous period in which 2.15 million were sold.

It's high time that Fable II gets some finishin' at Kotaku. That's what the weekend is for; that and dressing up like Jack Burton from Big Trouble In Little China and shoving candy corn in our mouths. That leaves little to play just about anything else, meaning that shiny new copy of Resistance 2 I'm expecting will have to chill until Monday. Hmph!
