Capcom is sticking with tradition for the latest entry in the Ryusei no Rockman series (known here as Mega Man Star Force). Joining the recently announced Ryusei no Rockman 3 Black Ace is a second version of the game, Ryusei no Rockman 3 Red Joker. Both versions will launch simultaneously in Japan on November 13.

The announcement of Red Joker was made at the Rockman Summer Festival event in Tokyo on Sunday. Producer Ken Horinouchi took the stage and revealed the game to a cheering crowd.

The terms Red Joker and Black Ace refer to special forms that players can take in the new Star Force game. As you fight, your character builds up "noise." Reach a certain point, and you transform, gaining a new look and some new abilities. Red Joker and Black Ace are the ultimate transformations.

Also announced by Horinouchi was a limited edition bonus item that will be given away with both titles. Perhaps more importantly for Mega Man fans throughout the world, Horinouchi also revealed that Ryo Takamisaki is working on a comic version of Ryusei no Rockman 3, to be run in Coro Coro Comics.

Namco is getting set to answer that age-old question: which is better, CG or anime? In Japan, Tales series fans will get to make their choice by buying one of two versions of Tales of Hearts.

The upcoming DS entry in the series will be released in two forms. One form will have anime movies as produced by Production I.G. The other form will have CG movies as produced by Shirogumi.

Aside from the changes to the movies, the in-game content will be exactly the same.

You can get a glimpse at the changes for yourself by browsing the Tales of Hearts website. When opening up the site, you'll have to select between a preference for either the anime or CG version. The artwork on the site changes accordingly.

Both versions of Tales of Hearts will hit Japan in December. Outside of Japan, Namco has yet to announce its plans for the title. We'll have to wait and see if we'll be given a similar choice, or if we'll have one particular animation style forced on us.

Today Nintendo is calling on its star player to step into the batter's box and hit one out of the park with the launch of Mario Super Sluggers. The new baseball game for the Wii console lets players use the Wii Remote controller to mimic motions they might experience on a real baseball diamond. Just swing the Wii Remote like a bat or make a pitching motion to throw a pitch. This wild, Mario-styled take on baseball includes more than 40 playable characters from the Nintendo universe, and players can even use their Mii characters in some modes.

"Mario Super Sluggers has enough depth for core gamers but also offers controls that are instantly accessible to everyone," said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. "Mario Super Sluggers takes the fun into extra innings with cool characters, baseball-themed challenges and different control options for novice and experienced gamers."

The single-player mode lets players visit Baseball Kingdom, where they encounter characters with different baseball skills. Players must defeat them in a variety of challenges to persuade the characters to join their team -- and the characters that people choose are important. Team captains can perform special moves on the field. For example, Mario can pitch a wicked fireball, while Luigi can turn infield hits into a tornado. Just as in the real world, some players play better together than others: Different character combinations result in good chemistry for a team. In the world of Mario Super Sluggers, this could result in amazing catches in the outfield or the ability to interfere with fielders.

Multiplayer modes let up to four people compete at once. In Toy Field mode, for example, up to four players compete in a hitting and fielding extravaganza. Or just choose your players and play an exhibition game against friends.

To celebrate the launch of Mario Super Sluggers, Nintendo is giving the characters in the game the big-league treatment by creating a series of special baseball cards. These online cards can be found on a variety of Web sites and collected by users on a special album site. Pairing some players together creates a "Double Play" that unlocks bonuses like game videos and screensavers. Just as with real-life baseball cards, fans can collect multiple versions of the same card and trade them online for other cards they need. The more cards a person collects, the more bonuses and secrets they can unlock.

Remember that Wii features parental controls that let adults manage the content their children can access. For more information about this and other Wii features, visit Wii.com.

Spike's Japanese street fighting game is at long last set to leave its PlayStation 2 roots. The next target for the Kenka Bancho series is the PSP, which will be getting Kenka Bancho 3 Zenkoku Seiha (Conquer the Whole Country) later this year.

In this sequel, you play as Takashi Sakamoto, a high school student who's been forced to go on his school trip to a fictional city named Kyoto (no, it's not the same as Japan's ancient capital and home of Nintendo). It's there that Sakamoto, already king of the streets in his part of the country, learns that all the street toughs gather in Kyoto every year to determine the toughest tough in all of Japan. He plans on winning!

Kenka Bancho 3 will feature the hand-to-hand combat and free-roaming gameplay for which the series is known. The gameplay is also being updated to reflect the fact that Sakamoto is on a school trip. He'll be able to have romances with a variety of girls, and take part in tourism. It's up to you to decide what you want to do over the seven days of your trip.

Also new for the PSP version is multiplayer. While we don't have specifics, Spike is planning on some major ad-hoc support for the game.

Kenka Bancho 3 hits Japan on November 27.

    News/release from Cashman

Depanbrew is an homebrew that allow you solves every type of encountered problems on your Wii, and that can't be fixed without using homebrews. The homebrew language is french for the moment, but I'll translate it into English soon.

(There has been added a English and Dutch translation on the discussion page which may be used in the future)

    Usage
Depanbrew allows you to easily depan your Wii. The homebrew is easy to use, and has a graphical interface. You only have to point your problem with the Wiimote to get it solved. DepanBrew Channel is easy and fast.

    Beta 6

    Graphic interface added (BETA)
    Added home menu
That allow you to shutdown your wii, put it standby mode, return to System Menu and back to loader. Also, it show DepanBrew version.

    Improved Wiimote support
With some rumble and exploiting iR

Hmm seems that WiiBrew is making itself out to be the homepage of just about all Wii projects ie no homepage link which means people are wrongly informed of where it was released, but also Wiigen havent gave an homepage link.
