This program can detect if there is one or two styli on the touch screen.
To use:
First, press hard on the touch screen using one stylus and push A once to calibrate the system. (You can also use up and down to manually calibrate it.)
Then try touching the screen with one or more styli.
This is probably a solution looking for a problem, can anyone think of a use for this code?

Sgstair and me are planning to develop an application which should show you the differences between a nds-emulator and nds-hardware. It's main aim is to raise the compatibility of emulators. If developers can easily see the differences and test the accuracy, the compatibility may raise a bit. We still could need some help for it. News from Squidge:
I will be updating this topic with progress of my Final Burn port, giving access to CPS-1, CPS-2, Toaplan, Neo Geo, Cave, and Misc roms in one emulator.
For now, here's a small video of the progress: It's kinda jerky, but the playback on the actual machine seems pretty damn smooth ™.

REWORD (word) puzzle game update....
After a bit of feedback from the v0.3 release and me spotting a stupid memory leak soon after releasing, I've made the following fixes and changes. There's still loads to improve, so expect a 0.4 soon(ish).
Thanks to everyone who commented, described faults and offered ideas.
Fixes for v0.3.1 point release:
- fixed (I think) rogue letters flying off screen on shuffle
- fixed memory leak in letter sprite class destructor
- fixed pressing Y in pause mode would end game
- speeded up menus fractionally (ok Jozef?) but more to do
- changed stick+L+R exit to go to hiscore if needed
Future enhancements planned :
- aim to have scrolling word definitions if > 10 lines
- music option in-game (with volume control)
- possibly wordlist selection screen (diff languages etc)
- animated effects

Radad has updated his Menu Launcher app for the PS2, heres the release info:
New update: RadMenu 0.3
HDD and USB now working.
Putting radmenu.elf itself on the HDD is not supported as yet, but it does work on the USB drive.
I have done some limited testing on CDROM. I have launched a PS2 game successfully. I dont have a mod chip so I have been unable to test burned cds. I believe the internal CDROM driver only supports ISO format and Joliet.

genevois , alexel and me (Poison_xtreamlua alias Poison), xtreamlua's membre (as you know now ) have just released a game named Awaker (coded in C/C++) for the 2nd Xtreamlua&Gx-mod Contest.
About the game :
The aim is to reach the end of the level before the opponent, to do it, push the right button (to move the black square (player)) .
All along you way, some "static field" will be enabled by chance. If you are in the static fiel and you try to move, you'll must replay the level from the beginningt.
Some times a "bonus" scrolled down from the bottom screen, if you are able to catch it, your speed will improve.
Six levels are available, with two mode (normal mode and expert mode)
In expert mode the square do down in the descent and you can't stop it during the descent.
It's just a kind of preview, the final release have 9 level contrary to this preview which have 6 level.
Controls :
Right arrow : Move the player (black square).
Triangle : Take a snapshot.
Cross : Accept/succed a choix in menu screen.
Start : Go to next level (when a level is complete).

DCEmu via its Wii-News and Gamecube Emulation Sites are proud to present the first Dual Nintendo Wii and Nintendo Gamecube Coding Competition. This Coding Competition will hopefully ignite a mass of interest for creating homebrew and emulators on the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo Gamecube.

Competition Details
The Competition will start on the 6th May 2007 and Entries should be submitted on or before 7th AUGUST 2007 .
Entries for the competition must work on either Nintendo Wii or Nintendo Gamecube or both via SD Load.
All entrys must work with SD Load or with an as yet Unreleased Exploit for Nintendo Wii. Modchip Versions of any releases must have a corresponding SD Load Version.
Entries can be Emulators, Homebrew Games, Demos or Applications that work directly on the Gamecube/Nintendo Wii.
Any submissions must have sources released if theres a GPL on that sourcecode.
All submissions must have DCEmu Forums as the homepage until after the competition ends.
New releases of already released software will be allowed but there must be a good update if thats the case.
All submissions must use either of these splashscreens Here or Here.
All Submissions can be posted in the DCEmu Submit News Forum, beta testing of any submissions before actual final submissions can be done in the Nintendo Wii and Gamecube Development Forum
Multiple entries are allowed although only the best entry will win prizes.
Entries must be freeware so that when tournament ends they can be distributed.
The Judging will be done by Wraggster.
The winner will be announced on the 10th July 2006

milfrousse and genevois (with the participation of alexel) xtreamlua's membres have juste released their homebrew named Ukke for the 2nd Xtreamlua&Gx-mod Contest , a great game with an original gameplay and design.
About the game :
You control a star (looks like a Shuriken , you have to reach the exit of the level , but during the game some waves will appear, when a wave appear, you will have to move on a floor to avoid the wave, otherwise you'll be brought to the beginning.
The game is occuring in 2 parts :
- First part, you need to chose a place to "make" a floor (of course, the nombre of floors are limited).
- Second part, you have to move the star floor by floor , without bring at the begining by the wave.
Controls :
- Cross : "Make" a floor.
- Circle : Delete a floor.
- Start : Start the game when all the floor you need are madeLance / bring back to the game when game is paused.
- Select : pause, and exit the game when game is paused.
- Arrow : Move the player.
