The past months, discussions about the Manhunt 2 banning in the US and the UK have floured the Internet. However, if you take a look at the ESRB ratings list, you can see that Manhunt 2 is no longer rated Adults Only, but Mature in the US of A. This means that the game should be released on October 31th, just like planned.



Some people say that everything was planned to advertise for the game, while others think the developers had to remove something from the game to get it approved. What do you think? ...

I had this in mind for a while now ever since i saw the wii's internet capablities!

Unfourntly this release requires "THE OPERA INTERNET CHANNEL" which now costs 500 wii points - Rougly £3.50

OR if you have a homebrew browser you can use that!

This beta is very early and has only 3 webcams but like the other releases in time this will grow to something much better, and gives me alot more potentinal than the psp's browser as the wii browser has more support for java,flash and a much better refresh rate!

You might want to adjust the time settings on the html files for some webcams to get a better stream - depending on your internet connection speed of course!

The current default refresh rate is 4 seconds, this could be lowered!

For now the GUI is preety poor and has been built on PSP Earth 0.2, but in time will get its own GUI which will do itself justice!

Nintendo and Capcom have been showing off Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicle loads lately, and this latest trailer features gameplay footage of a giant crab boss in a claustrophobic corridor.

We've got high hopes for RE:UC, being the first on-rails shooter on Wii, even if the zombies don't quite explode like they really should.

And Wii owners have more shooting action to come from Sega in the form of Ghost Squad - an arcade port that also looks pretty good.

PS3's multiplayer frag-a-thon Warhawk has slipped slightly, and won't appear for download on PS Store on August 28 as previously announced by Sony.

Instead, the game will release on Thursday, August 30.

Eidos has finally revealed details about its Highlander project, naming French outfit Widescreen Games as the developer of the PS3, 360 and PC games.

It will be a third-person action adventure that spans over 2000 years, giving you a chance to explore feudal Japan, medieval Scotland, a futuristic vision of New York and Pompeii before the historical volcanic eruption.

Similarly to the film, the aim will be to journey around the world and meet other immortal warriors in battle, lopping off their heads to win. You'll have the choice of Katana, Claybore or Double to use, and be able to use various techniques to overpower your foe - like Resurrection, Chi Balance, Fireblade, Wind Fury, Stone Armour and other powered-up special attacks.

You'll be the newcommer Owen Macleod, but come face to face with 77 other characters along the way - some familiar from the television series or films.

Widescreen is promising around 18 missions to tackle in general, and lots of ways to get around your environment: zip wires, dagger and traverse climbing, swan dives, free falls, cannonballs and beams.

It sounds like it will be a gory and mature affair, with a predicted adult age rating, and is due for release sometime next year.

Widescreen Games is responsible for titles like Dead to Rights II and upcoming swashbuckler Black Buccaneer.

Activision has revealed it will be sneaking a Guitar Hero III demo into the Xbox 360 version of Tony Hawk's Proving Ground.

The full skating bundle will be released here on 9th October, meaning you'll get a two week head start before the GHIII demo rocks its way onto Live.

When taking a break from kick-flipping and break-neck-pipey-manual-shift-pumping, you'll be able to strum along to five fresh tracks in a Desert Rock Tour venue.

• Lay Down by Priestess
• Even Flow by Pearl Jam
• The Metal by Tenacious D
• Hit Me with your Best Shot as made famous by Pat Benatar
• Rock You like a Hurricane as made famous by the Scorpions
• It should tide you over until the full rock package hits shelves later in October.

Tony Hawk's Proving Ground follows on from the excellent Project 8 instalment last year. This time the skating legend and developer Neversoft aim to bring us more community, customisation, and online features than ever before.

You'll be able to make your own videos and hang out in an online Skate Lounge, you see, as well as enjoy a revamped Skate park creation feature and seamlessly board around with your pals. Trick modes have been polished up, too, alongside the addition of two new moves: Nail the Grab and Nail the Manual. We prefer RTFM.

SouthPeak has confirmed that Two Worlds will be released for 360 and PC in the UK on 7th September.

The fantasy role-playing game was previously expected earlier in the year, but was pushed back to give developer Reality Pump more time to polish bits and pieces - like the fancy MMO-style multiplayer mode.

This will be a similar affair to what Hellgate: London is offering, aiming to keep you playing long after you've trounced the main story campaign. No monthly subscription has been linked with Two Worlds so far.

We got our hands on the game in June and were pleasantly surprised; despite its superficial similarities Bethesda's behemoth Oblivion, underneath were some significant and clever new features. ...

You with your Virtual Console will be pleased to know three more games have been released, lead by Mario in NES charmer Wrecking Crew.

It was originally released here 1987, just off the top of my head, and lets you guide moustachio around a level and blow up obstacles stopping you from getting to the other side. Wrecking Crew gets lots harder as you get further, throwing things like fireballs at you while you work, and also lets you make your own stages for you and a friend to enjoy.

Well, you could pick that, but then Lunar Pool wouldn't be very happy. This one appeared in 1991, if you're asking, and is roughly a spruced up version of billiards with a futuristic twist. Just pot the balls on the weirdly shaped tables to win, fiddling with various everyday settings like friction, ball arrangement and extra players to keep things interesting.

Or you could save your pennies for Zelda lookalike Neutopia, made famous at the start of the 90s on the TurboGrafx-16. You hop into the boots of a young lad who sets off on a magical adventure to free a captured princess and recover medallion pieces stolen by an evil demon. Solve puzzles and explore labyrinths as you hunt for powerful equipment and treasure to aid you on your epic quest.

Koch Media has inked a deal with Data Design Interactive to distribute its titles in the UK.

The deal covers DDI's portfolio of games including the Popcorn Arcade brand, with 14 games for the Wii all due before the end of 2007.


Some of the Wii titles due in October and November this year include Ninja Bread Man, Offroad Extreme, Myth Makers: Orbs of Doom and Rig Racer II.
