April 19, 2007 - Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced the development of Looney Tunes: Duck Amuck, which will star "the infamously short-tempered and devious Daffy Duck in stylus-based gameplay," exclusively for Nintendo DS.

Developed by WayForward Technologies, the game will see players wield the stylus as they irritate, aggravate and infuriate their own Daffy Duck in humorous ways. Inspired by the classic Duck Amuck cartoon, players will compete against Daffy through a series of mini-games, randing from retro inspired favorites to modern, innovative gameplay interactions, with the goal of driving Daffy’s temperature, and his temper, through the roof. Wireless functionality will allow players to not only gang up on Daffy as a team but also battle each other in head-to-head competition.

"Looney Tunes: Duck Amuck gives gamers and all Daffy Duck fans a brand new experience and total control in tormenting the heated duck all in good Looney Tunes fun," said Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President, Development and Production, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. "The imaginative gameplay puts players in the creator’s role with the Nintendo DS™ system incorporating individual and competitive play with the beloved Daffy Duck character."

The game will be available later this year alongside the Melbourne-developed Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal, which is hitting Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 2. Stay tuned for more on that title. ...

Codemasters's motorsport title 'Race Driver: Create & Race' is coming exclusively to Nintendo DS this summer.

Using the Nintendo DS stylus, the game's track editor lets players select and place race track elements, such as hairpin corners, long straights and chicanes, to design unique circuits. Once all the pieces are placed to perfection, players can take to their track and experience exactly what it's like in aggressive multiple car races.

In addition to the track editor, the game features 32 real-world circuits - from Silverstone and the Nurburgring to Bathurst - and 25 officially licensed race cars, including the Koenig GT, the AMG Mercedes C Klasse DTM, and the Chevrolet Silverado Truck.

Making use of the Nintendo DS Wi-Fi connection capabilities, players can challenge others to races on the game's official tracks as well as the circuits of their creation. 'Race Driver: Create & Race' also enables up to four players to go head-to-head in races gamesharing from only one cartridge. Further championships and cars can be unlocked from the World Tour Mode and then raced in realtime online and ad hoc multiplayer modes. ...

Hey everyone, there was a vista theme for 3.03 OE-C released a while ago, and when I tried to flash it I bricked, so now I made it compatible with 3.30 OE-A which is the firmware I am currently at, the topmenu_plugin runs perfect, just like it ran on my 3.03 OE-C, and I also added a PS3 wave instead of the one that came with the pack. I also took to the liberty of messing with the 01-12 a bit, so now all of them work, but instead of the brow 11, it is now a black 11, I liked black more than brown, I also added a PS3 like font, I thought it was kinda cool, I hope you guys like it, and one more thing is this doesn't work unless you delete the unneeded font files for flash space(flash agent does it). Just in case people on this website don't know where to flash the stuff, you flash Ltn0.pgf to flash0:/font/.... and everything else you flash it to flash0:/vsh/recource/........well I hope you like it... the screen shots are below, btw, it doesn't freeze at all...
EDIT: I forgot to link the original Vista Theme, again sorry to PSPCulture...
EDIT: I just figured out that this also works for 3.40 OE-A...
EDIT: Good quality pics now.... ...

    New release from Pharonyk:

    Description:
This Homebrew will flash two files to your flash0 to allow you to have a custom boot and play PSX games. If you didn't know, having a custom "opening_plugin.rco" (boot) would interfere with your PSP POPStation..

I have provided an edited "game_plugin.prx" with PSP's default "opening_plugin.rco" that is renamed to "0pening_plugin.rco". So you don't have to worry about anything, unless you don't have any free space on your flash0.

    WARNINGS:
    1. Be sure you have some free space in your flash0 not Memory Stick.

    2. Have your battery recharged.. (atleast 80%)?
Also have the AC Adapter plugged in..

    3. There is always a risk of bricking when you flash any type of file so beware of your actions.

I'm not responsible for any bricks at all!

    Instructions:
    1. If you have any custom boot, just go into recovery, flash0 usb access, and replace the "opening_plugin.rco".

    2. Copy "LOLstation" and "LOLstation%" to your PSP's Game or Game150 folder..

    3. Run LOLstation and you should be lollerfine. roflordia!

    By Pharonyk..

    3.10/3.30 OE ONLY!

i just checked the network update and 3.40 came up. so i just figured id give u the heads u. 3.40 is offically out under network update. (usa at least)

Support for PLAYSTATION Network titles has been expanded.

The method of managing certificates under [Game] has been changed.

Certainly not one of the more exciting updates in recent memory. Coincidentally, the PLAYSTATION 3 has also been updated today. The PS3 can now supposedly play downloaded PS1 titles, and by using the two systems in tandem, one can play a game on PS3, save, and then continue playing that title on the go. Unfortunately, as of this writing, we've been unable to make this work.

To download the latest update, run Network Update on your PSP.
