With WarioWare: Smooth Moves standing as the sole retail Wii release since the middle of December, owners of the new system may foster worries of a post-launch drought of new games. However, those same owners may find comfort today, as Nintendo has released a slate of a dozen Wii games scheduled for release by the end of March.

While the Nintendo faithful will have to endure a few dry weeks (Wii Play with Wii Remote is the only release before March), a number of high-profile franchises are set to hit the system by the end of the quarter. Ubisoft is down for bringing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Prince of Persia series to the Wii, while Sega is ready to offer gamers Sonic and the Secret Rings. Electronic Arts is also bringing some famous faces to the system in the form of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07, SSX Blur, The Godather: Blackhand Edition, and Medal of Honor: Vanguard.

However, this list may not be comprehensive. Earlier today, Ubisoft released a list of its own expected first quarter releases as part of its financial earnings statement, and that list indicated Driver: Parallel Lines for the Wii would also make it to store shelves in the first quarter. A Nintendo representative had not returned request for comment as of press time, but an Ubisoft spokesperson reiterated that the game will be released before the end of March.

There's also the matter of Virtual Console games. Sega has already committed to bringing five more titles to the downloadable service in the first quarter, and Nintendo said it will bring Mario Kart 64 to the Virtual Console "next week." Nintendo has said that Monday would be the launch day for downloadable games on its digital distribution service, but in the past exceptions have been made.

Nintendo's full list of expected first quarter retail releases follows below:

February 14--Wii Play with Wii Remote--Nintendo
March 27--Disney's Meet the Robinsons--Buena Vista
    March--Bust-A-Move Bash--Majesco
    March--Prince of Persia Rival Swords--Ubisoft
    March--TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)--Ubisoft
    March--Bionicle Heroes--Eidos
    March--Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII--Ubisoft
    Q1--Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07--EA
    Q1--SSX Blur--EA
    Q1--The Godfather Blackhand Edition--EA
    Q1--Medal of Honor Vanguard--EA
    Q1--Sonic and the Secret Rings--Sega ...

    News/release from Raphael:

I just decided to release the cardgame library I wrote up in a day back in december to try out a card counting mechanism for black jack and also create some sample code for my OSTL (open standard types library).
The goal was to make the code as clean as possible and provide all basic functions for a type of french tarock cardgame.
As it stands, you can create decks with variable number of card sets in it (each set containing 52 cards), shuffle decks, draw cards from decks, put cards onto discard piles, create player hands and put and discard cards into/from the hand.

The sample code does nothing much but create a deck with two card sets, and let you draw single cards and discard the player hand. So it didn't make it into a game, but at least that makes up for a good start into creating some nice card games or just learn from the code.

Everything is released under GPL. Hope you enjoy. Feedback wanted.

    Please Unzip the Folder to

Bookmark this page, so you don't have to type it in!

You must have 2.7 for Flash to Work, this includes all custom firmwares and original firmware's!

    New release from NullKill:

ideally, anyone who wants keyboard input from an Ir keyboard can use the library, allowing a common config file to be used for any application

I've made a ton of improvements and upgrades to my first release of PSP Vi...

    Changelog for 0.02a:
+ability to write to file (and fixed writing)
    i.e. W myfile.txt or w ms0:/location/file.txt
+ability to open a file (Alpha Version, some bugs but generally good)
    i.e. O ms0:/filename.txt or o ms0:/filename.txt (Notice you need the full path, including ms0:/)
+general code clean up and bug fixes
    +battery meter

Its now a fully functional editor! Hooray!

I probably should have rolled this to beta, but I'll make the next one a beta release, for now though 0.02a is good

    Hi All,

For those who has missed the beginning, Stella is on of the best emulator of Atari 2600 game console,
running on many different systems, such as Linux, Solaris, Windows, MacOS/X, WinCE, OS/2, GP2X.

It has been written initially by Bradford Mott, see Stella's site for details.

PSP2600 is a port on PSP of the version v2.2 of Stella. It's based on the work of * Aenea *
who was the first to port Stella to PSP, and David Voswinkel who's now in charge
of the PSP port in Stella team.

What's new in this version ?

    - Merge the code from Stella v2.2 (replacing Stella v2.0 b1)
    - Add several Anti-Flicker modes such as :
Phosphor (from Stella v2.2), nice but CPU consuming
Simple, very fast and suitable for black background games
Average, it computes average colors between two frames
    - Add paddle support, using Left / Right keys or analog Pad
    - Fix the sound speed/accuracy (For a better quality, set the
PSP clock to 333Mhz in the settings menu)
    - Bug fix in Rom file requester
PSP hangs when the rom list was big and already sorted
    - Remove Gelon's name from graphics stuff (as he wants to)
    - Add * Aenea * as the author of the first PSP port (i'm sorry for this mistake !)

t has been developped on linux for Firmware 1.5 and i hope it works also for 2.x
using the great eloader (0.99x) from http://www.noobz.eu/.

How to use it ? Everything is in the README.txt file.

Sources are included, and this package is under the GNU public license,
read COPYING.txt file for more information about it.

    Enjoy,

New game coming to PSP, heres the tidbit of info via future gamez

Some big news today with Atari Australia sending out a release schedule. No, that's not the news. What is news is that appearing under the PS3, PS2 and PSP sections is none other then Kane & Lynch: Dead Men - a game previously only announced for the XBox 360 and PC in mid-2006. The title is being developed by Io Interactive, who have series' such as Hitman and Freedom Fighters to their names. Kane & Lynch: Dead Men follows the fortunes of a flawed mercenary and a medicated psychopath forced together on a violent and chaotic path seeking redemption and revenge. No means is too harsh as the volatile partnership is pushed beyond reason in this brutally realistic, character-driven third person action shooter. The game is due out on all platforms in June 2007.
