Hello, and welcome to my first release of CTF for the PSP.
(Finally, a break from TTR, lol.)

For those who don't wanna read this, I'll just simply tell you that its kxploited, so theres no need for luaplayer, and that you can download it here.

First of all, I expect your wondering what exactly CTF is. Well, as you may have guessed, CTF stands for Capture the Flag, which is a new LUA game, created by yours truely. The objective is very simple; snatch the enemie's flag and make it back to you own base, without touching anyone on the way.

Although the game sounds simple to paly, trust me, its no easy task. As the enemies get quicker, you're forced to think of a new staetgy to get around them before they catch you. This fast paced, addictive, and yet simple game is perfect for cheap thrills on the road.

Although there is one down side. For the time being, till i can release v0.2, the arrows don't work correctly. You may see them from time to time, but they cant hurt you... yet.

This time around, all the GFX have been done by me, and my trusty MS paint, in the style of the original QJ game:

    Nice for paint GFX, Eh?
To add to all this, I've evn saved you some time by kxploiting it, so theres no need to look for lua player. Have Fun Playing, But Remember, Leave you comments, as they're always appreciated!

Today I got bored and figured why not bug nintendo for a few minuets to relieve that boredom. So I sent them this email.

Dear Nintendo, I've written you before about the virtual console.
But that's not the point I wish to make this time.
I find myself at this moment with a stock pile of wii points and nothing to spend them on.

That's not to say there isn't a number of great games on the wii shop channel.
That's only to say I've bought all the games that I know I would love to play, and I look forward to future virtual console releases, in fact every monday I check the shop channel hourly to see if that weeks virtual console content has been released, What can I say. Im a huge retro fan.

However on to the criticism part. there are some games in the wii shop channel that interest me.
But for lack of better description and illustration, I find myself passing up those titles. Dungeon Explorer, Gunstar heroes, and Ristar come to mind.

Now I realize this is where this email is forwarded to someone in the virtual console department to give me a nice generic response with a personal touch to make me feel all warm and bubbly inside, followed by the pitch to join the Nsider forums and such.

But before you do that, Please consider that on standard definition televisions, while the (More Details) descriptions are pretty vague, the illustrations while adding some flavor are hard to view.
a magnification feature would be really nice in these areas along with more detailed descriptions.

And even though this isn't likely to happen, short videos of in game footage would be a welcome addition as well.

Now before this is disregarded as just a constructive view from a wii fan. Which it is.
Please consider that these features would be useful to help appeal to a wider rage of people with various eye sight conditions and even those who would like to know more information about the Game's they're about to take a chance on.

    Regards, Shadowprophet.

Anyway. I should have a reply in about four or five days, and when it comes ill post it here as well.

    As always feel free to

Bandai Namco Games is working on a Detective Conan game for the Nintendo DS called Detective Conan: Tantei Ka-Trainer (Detective Conan: Power Detective Trainer). Unlike the other Detective Conan games you’re not cracking cases. Instead Detective Conan: Tantei Ka-Trainer is a collection of brain teasing mini games. In one game you pick out the correct key to fit in a hole, another has Conan play rock-paper-scissors with a fellow junior detective and in another you pick out subjects from a line up. It’s probably not as exciting as solving cases, but there is a chance you might replay Detective Conan: Tantei Ka-Trainer again instead of leaving it on the shelf after you figure out the truth in the other Detective Conan games. ...

SCi (and Eidos) have acquired the rights to 11 Warner Brothers franchises, including Looney Tunes, Hanna Barbera and (prepare to be excited or horrified) the recently canceled Fox TV show The OC in a deal worth upwards of $80 million. Looney Tunes characters include Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Road Runner and Speedy Gonzales. The OC on the other hand features Mischa Barton and the other fit one. All games are scheduled for PSP. Hanna Barbera’s Tom and Jerry, the Flintstones and Yogi Bear are also mooted, plus a Batman game based on the DC comics. In truth, few Warner games are unlikely to trouble PS3, unless the latest series of The OC takes an explosive action RPG twist.

Interview from Gamepro, heres the juicy part:

GP: Back to PS3 hardware: has it been challenging to work with the PS3 Cell CPU?

Kojima: Of course I don't actually work with all the programs, so I can't tell you specifically what's difficult. But overall I think it is difficult, of course. But if it's easy and simple, then how can you differentiate from other games? Other people will do the same thing as you. Therefore, we're trying to use [the Cell's] difficulty to create something different.

If I say too much, Mr. Kutaragi might get really upset. I think that the PS3 is difficult to work with, but so was the PS2.

GP: Is MGS4 still planned as an exclusive PS3 game? Do you have any interest in Xbox 360 development?

Kojima: Well, yes, I do have strong interest in creating something for the Xbox 360. In the US and Europe, it is selling, and I think it will sell a lot this year as well. I'm a fan of Gears of War as well, it's very interesting.

Frankly speaking, I want to create something on the PC. It's a multi-platform [format]. I've been regularly studying work on the PC anyways, and I want to provide something as a world-wide platform because of the consequences with timing on the PlayStation platforms, MGS4 is actually for the PS3 only so far.

GP: If you ever made an Xbox 360, would you find it difficult to work with because it uses a standard DVD?

Kojima: It's not necessarily challenging or difficult, it's just a matter of how we do it. It might be a couple of discs, or possibly a new form of dual-layer.

If you're depressed by recent tales of Wii-related death and injury, allow us to assuage your pain with a DS-related feel-good story from Japan (where else?). Kansai, Japan's Funky 802FM radio station yesterday interrupted its 24-hour funk regimen for DJ Mark'E (pictured) to make an important announcement: a stray Nintendo DS had been found in a park in Kyoto's Fushimi-ku ward. Some upstanding citizen had found the handheld and taken it to a nearby police box (they have "police boxes" in Japan), rightly assuming that a small child had dropped the DS. (This is a land where you can drop your wallet and expect it to be returned.)

Thanks to DJ Mark'E's repeated announcements, child and DS were reunited yesterday evening, tears were mopped, and this blogger was left wondering how the scenario would have played out in his native England. (Clue: no tears would have been mopped, but the finder would have celebrated with an exclamation of "bloody hell, what a freebie!") Three cheers, then, for Japanese citizens' sense of honour and stuff. ...
