THE CLASSICAL FREEDROID: Freedroid is a clone of the classic game "Paradroid" on Commodore 64 with some improvements and extensions to the classic version.

In this game, you control a robot, depicted by a small white ball with a few numbers within an interstellar spaceship consisting of several decks connected by elevators.

The aim of the game is to destroy all enemy robots, depicted by small black balls with a few numbers, by either shooting them or seizing control over them by creating connections in a short subgame of
electric circuits.

Flubba posted this news about his WIP MSX emu for GBA:

I have now added a virtual keyboard which also is used to remap the GBA keys, 32kB RAM is available now which means the Basic can be used, I struggled a lot with Kings Valley II which refused to work when I added the RAM, but I finnaly fixed that as well. I'm also messing around with the html on this page, I hope it still works.

Puck2099 has released the first version of his port of the classic game Rise of the Triad to the GP2X.

Heres what he posted:

This first version has some sound problems so by default it is muted. I hope to fix it in next version, but if you want to try the sound, you can do it using volume control buttons. The game runs by default at 133 MHz, but you can change it editing the scripts and remplacing that value for a new one between 100 and 300. The script "rott.gpe" doesn't show correctly the game if you use TV-OUT so I recommend to use the script "rott_tvout.gpe" when you want to play it on TV.

Beat2X is a StepMania-like game for GP2X. It consists of several levels, each one based on one tune, where the user has to press the right buttons in sync with music.

Heres whats new in this latest version by miq01

[04/23/06] Combo images changed.
[04/02/06] Pressing any button while the statistics screen is shown makes them update much faster.
[04/02/06] In order to quit the current game and go back to the main menu, START and SELECT must be kept pressed for 1 second.

[03/30/06] The amount of given or lost energy after right or wrong button presses doesn't depend on the speed of the arrows.
