    News/release from bigbob85:

I dont know why this hasnt been noticed before (as far as I can tell), but PAGC frontend doesnt load textures into the texture tab when you load ini.

I decompiled the source, edited it, and recompiled, and all went well.

Only other change I made was I updated version to 0.9

Ok, this is a really simple tool.
Enter your color up the top, select what format it is, hit convert, and it'll tell you the appropriate RGB color in hex, 0-255, 0-31 and as the value in PA_RGB format.

Requires .NET 2.0 to run. (Vista has this preinstalled.. soo..)

    UPDATE:
Updated this at BassAceGold's request. Now can convert from any of the 4 formats listed, to any other format.

    News/release from Gemesis:

Ok, the basic Mii Viewer/Editor by me is done. I would like to see comments on what else i could add. It currently shows the basic features of the Mii, and allows the use of basic Mii Editing functions. Currently, there is no actual image of the Mii, as I cannot do graphics but if anyone wants to help with that part of it, then let me know. Here is the info from the README:

    Name:

    MiiLib

    Created By:
    GEMISIS

    DISCLAIMER:

IT DOES NOT READ/CREATE MII FILES FOR THE WII!!!

When you create a Mii, it will create a Mii Data File called

"ChosenFileName", no quotes, replacing ChosenFileName with

    the File Name you chose.

    File 1: Mii_Editor_Viewer.nds
    Description:
This is the Mii Editor/Viewer for the DS.

    File 2: TEST
    Description:
    The Test Mii's data file

    Installation:

1 DLDI Patch the file Mii_Editor_Viewer.nds

2 Place Mii_Editor_Viewer.nds and TEST onto you homebrew

    launcher in the root directory.

    3 Launch Mii_Editor_Viewer.nds

Note: Make sure that all Miis are in the root directory of

    you homebrew launcher.

The Mii Editor/Viewer can be run on DeSmuME. I am not sure

which version, as I forget mine, but it should work on one of

the newest versions. HOWEVER, the only thing it will be able

to do is view the Mii. It cannot save it. (At least it

hasn't for me) Just make sure all of the files are together

    in 1 folder.

If it works, then the Test Mii's properties should be:

    Mii Name: test
    Creators Name: GEMISIS
    Favorite Color: Light Blue
    Weight: 70
    Height: 64
    Mii ID: 17-250-172-114

    Credits:

    Created By: GEMISIS

brendkak4 for the Original Topic Idea
Nintendo for creating the idea of Miis

Controls (didn't put them in the README ):
After the splash screen (press any key to go through it), use the following buttons to load/create a mii:
A: Load an already created mii
    B: Create a new mii

After you have loaded a mii or created a mii you can edit the following attributes with the following buttons:

    A: Changes favorite color forwards
    B: Changes favorite color backwards
    Up: Makes the mii taller
    Down: Makes the mii shorter
    Right: Makes the mii Heavier
    Left: Make the mii lighter

Note: I would recommend counting to at least 10 before turning the DS off, that way, it can save the data properly. I will make a status bar sometime later. On the side note, it saves every time you edit something/create a new mii, so be aware of that.

    News via dsscene:

Alekmaul has been working on yet another emulator for the DS, this one being a KLAX acrade emu. KLAX was a classic puzzle game that many of you may remember playing in the early 90's on the Atari Lynx handheld. No release as of yet but you can expect one in the near future.

    Quote

PuzzleKlax is an emulator arcade game Klax.
This game is known to be very addictive as Tetris was in his day.

    Chip posted this news:

I've had a nice chat with Craig today about the Pandora project status. He's gone off to bed (it's 2AM there, I think), but I'm going to try to give you a condensed state of affairs.

    Credit Card Orders
As you know, some (not all) credit card orders will have to be refunded and the orders re-placed with the new bank. This process will begin tomorrow (or today, if it is already Nov. 4 when you red this). The orders are being refunded geographically - UK, then continental Europe, then North America. The whole process should take about a week. If your card is being refunded, you will receive an email with instructions for re-ordering. No, I don't know what those instructions are. The emails will go out when the refunds are processed, but because different banks process things differently, you may not see the money in your account immediately. Personally, if I'm affected, I won't be re-ordering until the money shows up in my account. I suggest you do the same, but it's your call.

I don't know if there is any sort of time limit on re-ordering. I don't know about "places in line". I'll find out.

If you don't get an email in the next week, then your credit card order was processed successfully before the bank went wonky. Your order is secure and you don't need to do anything.

    Manufacturing Update
Apparently the last piece of the puzzle, the last item that needs to be finalized before we'll have a complete Pandora, is the wifi antenna. Good antenna design is the main distinguishing factor between good wifi reception and crappy reception. Having an antenna professionally designed would have cost something like $100K, so the design team had to go a different route. The testing has taken longer than expected, but the result will be excellent wifi range.

The good news is that the antenna probably won't have much of an effect on production times. The bad news is that the LCD panels probably will.

    Delays
There are definite supply problems with the LCD panels. It is a simple matter of the manufacturer committing to a certain number in a certain time, and not being able to deliver on that time schedule. It is unfortunate, but it is not uncommon either. There is nothing that can be done about it.

They are shipping panels as they become available, and they will fill out the entire order. However, they will probably not fill the entire order by the end of this month. They may not have it filled by the end of next month. Yes, that means some people might not get their Pandoras until next year. It sucks, but like I said, there is nothing that can be done.

    Refunds
As has been the policy from the beginning, you may have your pre-order refunded at any time. This is a community project, and I get the impression that some of you who are new to the community didn't understand what that meant when you placed your order. If you don't want to deal with problems like this, there are others who don't mind as much.

OK, not the best news, but we are moving forward. I'm going to do my best to keep everybody up to date with this stuff. I PMed ED to see about getting front page posting access on Openpandora.org so I can put big updates there. Until then, I'll just sticky anything really important for a couple days and then let if fall. And of course, I will add any significant dev update to my list.
