Quite possibly some of the most evil laughter that has been emitted from the Wii Fanboy staff in a long time, the embedded video that shows the fast-footed postman receiving his due has won many over at digg, eventually gaining our attention. We felt that it was our duty to show this to all who have not been able to. So, be merry, be evil and watch the video! Be warned though, that if you do this in your game the framerate will drop to less than one-per-second.

Another possible way to access the Wii as emerged.

IDefense is reporting a new Opera JPEG exploit.

There is a lot of info on how this all works along with sample code here.

This is way beyond what I will pretend to understand about programming, so i'm just posting it here in case someone else might find it interesting.

    • Space Harrier II - Fantasyland has been taken over by destructive forces and a call for help comes from deep in the universe. (1992/© ToeJam&Earl Productions, Inc. © SEGA)

    • Ristar - Greedy, an evil space pirate, has corrupted the kings of Valdi System's seven planets and enslaved the people who live there. The plea for a hero is answered by Ristar who uses his amazing extendable arms and courage to save Valdi from Greedy. (1995/© SEGA)

    • Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine - Dr. Robotnik is stamping out music and fun in Mobius with his giant, robotizing Mean Bean Steaming Machine. "Nintendo has offered a great gateway to bring classic SEGA titles such as Sonic The Hedgehog, Altered Beast and Toe Jam & Earl to Wii console owners," said Scott A. Steinberg, Vice President of Marketing, SEGA of America, Inc. "This is only the beginning though, as you can expect to see more announcements regarding other SEGA classic titles coming to the Wii Shop Channel in the coming months."

Nyko is another company jumping into the fray and answer our calls to create a rechargeable battery pack for the Wii-mote. Joytech showed off their rechargeable station last month, with disgusting nunchuk holding claws, but pretty sweet recharge through USB.

The Nyko 87000 charge station comes with 2 NiMH rechargeable battery packs, six foot power cable and the battery packs are "rubberized" for grip. So, how much is it? Funny thing ... the guys who can give us that information are lost at CES in Vegas. We'll update this post as soon as we can give details on release date and cost. It's just nice to know that our Wii battery budget, which is a large expenditure within the Wii's hidden cost, will soon be no more.
