Vaza has released a new mod for the game Attack of the Mutants heres what Vaza posted:
Hi Everyone, Since the AOTM front is a little slow i decided that i would try out to make a new mod, so i did. AOTM Pacman! Edition (as the name suggests) is a mod for the game created by Denitro called Attack of The Mutants (great game 10/10) this changes the theme of the game to Pacman from the default "Space" theme.

As you may know, EdisonCarter has made a trainer for GTA that uses a straightforward exploit in the game to execute arbitrary code. He chose not to reveal his techniques, but with the new savedata encryption and decryption routines at http://forums.ps2dev.org/viewtopic.php?t=4335, now anyone can run homebrew on 2.0, 2.01, 2.50, and probably 2.60:

Decrypt the GTA cheat device using the savedata/decrypt sample
Find and modify the code (look at offset 0xc4 for the offset of the start of MIPS code)
Reencrypt the save using the savedata/encrypt sample
Note that the syscalls may be changed from the 2.0 VSH mode, since a different set of modules is loaded. Hopefully it shouldn't take long before someone clever like Fanjita can make a decent loader for us.by Published on December 10th, 2005 23:22
Hey guys. Though I would post up some more pictures of the up and comming bspviewer version 0.3. The major difference in this version is lightmaps & Bsp tree/PVS implementation.
The version will be released sometime this year (need to finish a few more things).
Oh FYI, the reason for a new post is because people are missing out on seeing the improvement.
So head over to the forums and check out the pictures (if you are viewing from the website).
** Few Notes **
Picture 1 is Texture & lightmap blended together. Picture 2 is Vertex colors applied to texture surface then lightmap blended on top of it.
Strange color squares in the enviroment are from color reduction to lightmaps. I am still working on a correct color reduction method (since lightmaps use more then 256 uniq colors). ...by Published on December 10th, 2005 20:42

I have released my first homebrew game for the GP2X. Its a quick port of a game I wrote in a few hours on the PSP. I wanted to port this to the GP2X as its quick to port and I wanted to get used to using SDL.
This game is slightly changed for use on the GP2X, there are less cards on screen (10 instead of 16) and the on screen guide is not shown on the GP2X. Other than that its the same game. I might port a few of my other games to the GP2X in the near future, maybe Bunny Traps and/or Memory.

Getting a DS soon and I'm really interested in homebrews. Just wondering if the Pink DS (I ordered it from play-asia) will work with homebrew and emulation?
Also anything I need to watch out for when doing homebrews? Bricking of course, but maybe something unusual?

Darcelf has released a new emulator for Xbox.
Xvectrex is a port of vecx, a vectrex emulator.
The Vectrex is an 8-bit video game console developed by General Consumer Electric (GCE) and later bought by Milton Bradley Company. The Vectrex is unique in that it utilized vector graphics drawn on a monitor that was integrated in the console; no other console before or after the Vectrex had a comparable configuration. It was released in late 1982 at a retail price of $199. As the video game market declined and then crashed, the Vectrex exited the market in early 1984.

Gamefront.de has reported that Sega will release a new Dreamcast bundle with Radilgy & also a limited production telephone card, the bundle can only be brought from Sega Direct. The price will be 15.800 Yen (approx. 112 Euro/ $133)!
Fantastic news to have Sega release a new Dreamcast Bundle in 2006 lets hope they make it Mil-CD compatible so we can use our Homebrew on it and while there at it chuck a BroadBand Adapter in

Hi, This is my first post. I have searched through the forums about Battery Life and only stumbled on a few threads, with little information. I'm curious since it has now been out for a little while, can anyone who has tried combinations of batteries, with respect to Video, MP3 Playback, & Emulators maybe post some of there life expectency for each? If there already is one, I would appreciate it if I could be linked. Even if just from your experiences, it would help to know what Batteries (& Approx. Price).
