Once again thanks Troy! that helps alot. This is the best emulator on DS IMHO. The day that savestates or save to dsk becomes available I will pass out with ecstasy.

I cant wait to be able to play the Hobbit and the Pawn and the rest of the Magnetic Scrolls adventures and be able to save my progress!

    Thanks Again,

    You Rock GPF!!!!!!

I've been reading this thread quite thoroughly, and yet, even after trying pretty much everything that was discussed here, I'm still getting a "Device Not Present" error.

I have an R4DS with a 1 gb microSD card. I've downloaded the FrodoDS with the link that crookedmouth provided, patched it with DLDI with the link he provided as well, and even deleted the maniac mansion part on frodo.fpr (it was mentioned in a previous post), and yet it still says that the device isn't present.

Haha... I'm sorry if I seem a little bit frustrated. I have been working on this for what seems like hours, and I haven't come up with a solution. My favorite game of all time for the Commodore 64 is Demon Stalkers, and I'd love to play it on my DS, haha. Oh, and I also downloaded that FrodoDSM3simply file that doesn't utilize the Frodo.fpr file, and I have still been recieving the error. Haha... I'm totally out of options (and really close to ripping my hair out, lol). Can anyone help, please?

    Nevermind... I'm dumb, haha.

I figured it out... the rd folder goes into the main menu (which is what you guys meant by root folder... hahaha). Thanks!!

(Demon Stalkers just doesn't work now... hahaha)

    Got the same problem here.

    Device Not Present

    Update: It's working now.

All the files must placed in the folder RD. To get FrodoDS working.

Thanks for your hard work. It runs on CycloDS Evolution with some very little glitches but it is fine anyway.

I try your emulator last year on a G6 and i just finish reading this thread now. I tested so far the Hobbit and Bagitman - two of my old favs ever - and I have to check more ... keep up the GOOD work and a BIG Thanks
