    Default Probably a daft question but...

    Does your xbox need to be chipped to play emulators on it?

    Is there no other way that it can be done?

    Thanks

    Chris

    there's other methods like soft modding. i'm not sure how much i can say here, so look around on google, i know you will need a bigger hard drive maybe, and you will need to make sure that you are very careful, and do a lot of homework, and read, read read. good luck.

    I have a modded xbox, and i have never opened it up. It's quite easy to do. The xbox also has an 8-10 GB harddrive, MORE than enough space for oddles of emus and roms (that you legally own, of course).

    Start here -> http://www.xbox-scene.com/tutorials.php

    It took me a couple of weeks to get it right, but once you get it working right... immense feeling of accomplishment. I can completely softmod an xbox in around 5 minutes now.

    Good luck!
