Is Your PS3 This Noisy

That is how loud it gets when you do a fan test, or when you hold it upside down. The PS3's fan can crank up when it wants haha. Mine has a noisy ass BD drive in it that stops and starts when it loads, but that's about it.

My drive is pretty quiet in my PS3, but yeah the fan in my 40GB can get pretty noisy at times. But I don't think it's that bad.

when it's around 85 or so degrees, or around 27 in C outside, my ps3 uses the highest speed for it's fan and even then, it's not nearly as loud as this guys. That thing sounds like a garbage disposal.

that sounds like a vacuum cleaner. My PS3 is on 24/7 and it's still as quiet as.... well........ my TV makes more noice.

First of all why is this news??? and second of all thats not normal my ps3 is quiet as a mouse even in my long gaming sessions

First of all what random articles have u seen in a newspaper? exactly, and second of all lol the ps3 will do this if u have it on for hours, it doesn`t do it for long, just cooling, unless this ps3 has probs constantly doing this

Woo, is that a 20GB PS3? My 60GB Euro one doesn't make such a loud racket as that. Plus, it's more quieter when the weather isn't so hot.

If there's anything that could match the loudness of that PS3 in the vid, that would be my PC. That can get be far louder when I have the cooling settings in the BIOS switched to the max.
