    Now that this modchip is coming out, people are going to be attempting to create custom firmwares, especially as "bricking the psp" won't matter much anymore.

    If someone manages to make a custom firmware of 2.7, which loads unsigned eboots and allows access to kernel... then wouldn't it be possible to load ISOs on 2.7?
    I think we need to make sure no one tries to create a custom firmware like that!
    It would completely destroy the psp... but I'm sure it will unfortunately happen eventually though.

    Yep thats why i'm not doing it. Tried once and destroyed my ps2 so i'm willing to pay to have it done.
