    NDS Refurbished DSLites Mini Review

Tonight i have 2 mini reviews for you.

The first is of a Refurbished DSLite Console i brought from IShopvideoGame

Ishopvideogame sell a range of Refurbished DSLite Consoles including some special edition consoles such as the Zelda, Dragon Ball, Naruto and Pokemon and all the usual colours.

The price of the consoles ranges from 94 Dollars up to 106 Dollars and the shipping is a very decent 10 dollars or less depending on where you live.

Ishopvideogame also will mark the package as sample or with no value to beat nasty customs charges and thats a big thumbs up from me.

Ok the console, the box it shipped it wasnt a brand new box but if buying for a present would be passable, the console itself was in perfect condition, in fact i looked all over it and to be honest it looked brand new, even better it came with a 100-240v charger so no messing around.

My wife has had it for weeks now and its working great, battery life is as expected and absolutely in perfect working order.

Am i happy with my buy, yes for sure, the fact you can get special edition DSLite Consoles for a cheap price and consoles as good as new for 50 dollars cheaper than the usual price makes this a great buy.

Thanks to IShopvideoGame for a great console.

My experience with these is quite different. I got the Dragonball Z orange model for my son's birthday. I had nothing but problems with it. First of all the plastic on these Chinese DS's is different than the ones in America. The plastic was so stiff that the on and off button would stick in the on position. I had to take a pocket knife to unstick it. When I did this the plastic above it broke exposing the screen. Also the volume button wouldn't slide back and forth smoothly and would stick in a low volume position. Taking the unit apart was a nightmare and it wouldn't go back together properly and the cheap plastic kept breaking. Then while putting it back together the touch screen on the bottom started peeling off. A very bad unit, but the kid loves orange so I thought it would be good.

I ended up getting him an American made white one and putting orange armour on it. I don't know if you have noticed but on all 5 DS lites we have (well 4 now that the orange one broke) the top screen seems to get a watery black spot in the middle that moves around and makes rainbow colors on the screen when it is on like the liquid crystal is leaking. This can be made to go away for a while but seems to come back now and then. The spot can be as big as a quarter or smaller. Anyway love the DS's just not that orange one or the problems with the top LCD's.

Last week, I bought one from HongKong on internet. I live in Turkey, prices are too expensive here around 300$. It was sensible buying refirbished one instead of a new one. My DS Lite is white. İt's working fine for now.
