Shouldn't someone port mplayer to the psp?

Anyone know if its possible to port mplayer (www.mplayerhq.hu) to the psp?

This is a great media player for low-end systems, I think it could do great things on the psp, like maybe not having to do any conversion of videos you copy on your mem stick, on some vids at leats, like mpgs, or lower rez .avis or something.

Anyway, just a thought, anybody that could enlighten me on this?
