Try the bootleg version see if that works.

Yep I found the problem and got it working. There is one ROM ba3.11 that has a bunch of zeros appended to the start of it which is why it is 2048 long instead of 1920. If you delete those extra bytes from the start of the file with a binary editor it will work with MAME4ALL on the PSP.

Sadly I think all versions of Final Fight do this.

Good news, Star Wars works and didn't make the list; my problem is that Empire Strikes Back also works but freezes within 3 seconds of gameplay. StarWars will only work if it is capitalized in word: STARWARS; Empire won't work as esb (as it is named in the rom) rename it in capitalized letters, rom will run but won't play. My point is that can mame4allpsp run non-listed games all depending on how they're named?

cylonwar the answer is no. The processor used for this reads the games that are meant to be played by it there for it the games have to be left with there original names unless KETCH rewrites it otherwise.

Hi ok have a question this might not be the right place to ask so please bare with me. How do you get mame4all. How do you get it on your psp? Or through the pc. is there any place that has full instructions on how to run it where to put it etc, dose it work with the mame you currently have on your pc I mean all the roms or do you have to down load roms just for the mame4all sorry this is all new to me Please email me with any help thanks again
