Saving would require changes to the emulator itself, because of the way Genesis games implement saving. They actually map the save RAM to part of the ROM area, which means you need to be able to swap the ROM out and replace it with SRAM. Genesis Plus can't do that at all at the moment.

IMO, Black Aura and Ian Micheal should work together to make a great Genesis emu. I am saying
    when you have time, you guys got lots of projects your working on, don't rush your genius :}
I think Ian an BA have the ability and determination to make genesis plus the BEST out of
the bunch right next to nester and Neo Cd (the two greatest at the moment IMO}.
I have total faith in you guys, your biggest fan is rooting for you!!!!

I do like to see coders working together on projects and its nice to see such recognition as in the case of the neocd project.

If coders can work as a team where all are equal then we could have the makings of the greatest scene ever

what differences has you code that quzar gave you actually made ian?

Yeah saving would require a total re write but why put it off if you can do it now? I'm talking to Ian because Ian has much loyality and put DC devolopment ahead of alot of things in his life and I respect him much for that.

well i would see what speed can be gained first, then collaborate with other coders for saving hints.

I respect all the coders, damn smart buggers

Well I could make A legal smash pack type thing with info for 6 games and make the emulator run at 95%aproxx with sound on about that many games. Clessy if you want to help on it, Art work i can code the menus and you could help pick 6 games that runs the best since your Chart also helps me. I can hard code it to load the games at new underclock settings each.

If we pick games with password saving it will be much better. It's a thought and might be fun. Â*So i would make it load each game at it's best.

Speed is as good as dreamsnes with sound at the moment rendering is SDL and 640x480 now Very clear. Sound Works quiet will much better then sega gen. Cpu has the throu output hacked it breaks some games but has a speed up. Might even try the new mame core in it. looking at optimizing it more small things all throu it.

Clessy if you want the offer is open for that style of genesis emu. Â*

Lot of games run very well like this and if done right with game info and on cd art with each game selected from the menu no roms included of course you have to worry about that but no change from any other emu.

It would expect right named roms to be placed in a directory. Since it does not have a cd loader menu it cant interfer with a Black aura's port.

I'll bang up some art in my digital arts class tomorrow then and i'll look into games that are fun to play without needing saving.

Sonic 1 is a must seeing how that ran without frame skip at playable speeds with that 183 underclock.

Probably thinking streets of rage 2 also. I will test out alot more games tomorrow and get you 8. I dont wanna use 9 because with 8 I think I can make a cooler menu .

Also one other thing we could do is host or choose a auto renamer program off zophar so everyone would have the correctly named roms.
