Reply With Quotean emulator or (emu - for short name) is a program that "emulates" different hardware. i.e. it runs games/software that is designed to run on different hardware (consoles, p.c., macs, amigas etc)
e.g. u can play a mega drive game on you p.c. or a snes game on your dreamcast
i sure someone else can explain that a bit better than me...... :-/
