PSP LANGUAGE SELECTION

i want to by a Psp off ebay but before i do i just want to check one thing. on the actually psp handheld can u change the language to english fom japense or is it just set with one language so you cannot change it.

u can change it from japanese to english from the PSP.

But how? it's like when one of your mates changes the language on your mobile phone to Russian. Unless you can read the language you can't navigate to switch it back. My PSP is in Japanese and I've no idea how to set it back. If anyone knows the keystrokes to do this it would be appreciated.
